We very much enjoyed our stay at Mila and Sigurþor studio! Very friendly host, available for any questions. The flat was lovely! Clean, very cosy, warm and quiet, exactly as describe. The perfect place to stay in Iceland very close from Reykjavík and from every accommodations. The perfect place to rest after a long road day!
For sure we're gonna come back when we'll visit Iceland (cause we still have a lot of things to discover and we both fall in love with your beautiful country!) this summer!
Thank you very much!

A lovely clean small apartment with large comfy bed, nice sized bathroom and a small kitchen area to make tea/coffee/sandwiches along with a microwave. Very lovely hosts who went out of their way to pick us up at the bus station and also drive us to the local supermarket to pick up some provisions. The heating kept the place extremely warm (we arrived in Feb). I would recommend a fantastic local Indian rest called Bombay Bazaar opposite the closest supermarket. Highly enjoyable stay.
Very clean and tidy apartment, nice view and wonderful location, the host is very helpful and nice, i will stay there again when i visit iceland in the future
Very friendly and helpful host. Clean and beautiful appartment.
We recently stayed at Sigurbór and Mila's apartment in Kopavogur, and we cannot recommend it enough. We received such a warm welcome with lots of information about the local area including maps, transport links and tips on local life.
The apartment was as described. Very clean and warm. A nice break from the cold outside. It provided everything you would need with a small kitchen that we used more than we planned to, and a big comfortable bed with excellent wifi connection.
Transport in and out of Reykjavik was easy with the number 1 bus route, with the nearest stop being 5 minutes from the apartment. However to venture further into Iceland we would highly recommend a car.
A lovely apartment in a lovely country owned by lovely people. When we inevitably return to Iceland Sigabór and Mila will be our first choice of accomodation.

Such a lovely place so warm and cosy. The hosts are very friendly also and the house is close to shops and sights. I highly reccomend.
We had a lovely time in the apartment and Kopavogur! I couldn't rate this experience highly enough.
Sigurthor was excellent at replying to emails and texts before we arrived. We were picked up on arrival at the BSI bus station (we took the shuttle from the airport), given a tour of useful and interesting places and taken to the apartment. Both husband and wife were very friendly and nice. They even bought us a present as it was our anniversary.
The apartment is at the back of their house. The hot tub is theirs and you need to give 1 hour notice for the tub to be switched on and heated.
The apartment is 1 bedroom with TV and the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in, 1 good bathroom and then the corridor which has a breakfast bar in it with microwave and toastie maker. We did use the 'kitchen' to make toasties, sandwiches and microwave meals and we didn't feel like we were missing out on any tools etc.
Towels, soap, cleaning equipment were all provided.
The bathroom was fine - hot water and a lovely warm towel rail.
During our stay we walked to the main street in Kopavogur a lot and use the supermarket and the bakery etc. We ate at the kebab café, the lunchtime café and the indian restaurant and all were excellent although expensive like the rest of Iceland. The people in the indian restaurant were lovely and the food was brilliant. The supermarket had everything you need at a reasonable price.
We also went to the bar a few times for drinks and again people were friendly and the prices were as expected for Iceland. We saw live music in the bar which was fun.
Getting the bus to Reykjavic was easy - a short walk from the apartment and it drops you at locations such as the BSI and central downtown. Either buy a ticket on the bus or a book of tickets at the video store in Kopavogur. The bus runs frequently and on time and the last one is at 23.45 so it is late enough.
One of our favourite things in Kopavogur was the public swimming pool. It is a short walk from the apartment and cheap. There is an indoor lane pool, an outdoor lane pool and about 5 or 6 different hot tubs and massage pools. It was brilliant and more enjoyable than the Blue Lagoon!
If you don't hire a car like us it is still easy to get around. If you do coach tours with Reykjavic Excursions they collect and drop from North Star Apartments in Kopavogur which again is only a short walk from the apartment and means you never had to get the bus!
We had a brilliant stay and saved a lot of money by staying at the lovely apartment instead of in Reykjavic and would stay again if we go back to Western Iceland!
My girlfriend and I spent a night here on our way around Iceland and we had a great time. Host are amazingly friendly and the hot tub is absolutely fabulous. I wish I could have stayed here longer!
