Very nice home in a beautiful house. Heather is a very friendly and supportive host. Too bad we have not been able to see our departure.
Washington is a beautiful city and the neighborhood , Capitol Hill , and Heather lives .
Heather made us feel very welcome and was so well organized! The room was as described and the house was in a great location. Heather had a packet with information about restaurants, wifi and passwords, metro stations, and tons of things to do! The house is a short walk from the metro which will get you just about anywhere and Heather was very responsive to any requests. I would certainly stay here again!
We had a great time staying at Heather's wonderful house. She was very helpful, welcoming and she gave us a lot of infos in advance and while we were there. The neighborhood was very nice and the location was convenient (subway, supermarket, restaurants close by). The room was clean, spacious and had a huge ensuite bathroom. We highly recommend staying at Heather's place!
Everything was perfect. Charming house. Heather is a very friendly person who helped us with useful information. We also enjoyed the neighbouroud: we recommend a diner on 8th street close by and the east market also. To see Washington the best is to rent a bycicle at the metro close to the house.
We took a mother daughter trip to DC and stayed with Heather for 5 days. She welcomed us warmly and helped us complete our DC "bucket list" with her insider knowledge of the city and its workings.
Our room was clean and comfortable . Her lovely modern and spacious home houses a collection of photos and artwork that are tasteful and impressive.
She is a great host with some great stories about DC. I fell hard for jojo the dog!
Thank Heather for giving us this chance to live in your house. It's a really great place for people traveling in Washington D.C.
This was second time to stay at Heather's charming clean huge house. I won't choose any other places except hers. Because she is always welcoming, with hospitality, help us a lot. First day in this trip, she was waiting for us until we arrived her house in spite of she had a important appointment around that time. And everything you need is around there. You can walk to a super market in 5 min and metro station is in less than 10 min. You can get the US Capitol in 5 min from the station. She will give you a map around that society as soon as you arrived. Also I have to tell you about her loving a dog, Jo Jo, and a cat, choco, are very sweet. We all love them! Thank you so much, Heather!
This was a great experience and I can only say good things about Heather and her home. Heather is a great host, she answered all my questions, sent very detailed directions and made our stay very pleasant and comfortable. The house is amazing, bright and spacious, located in a very nice neighborhood. All walking distance to the main attractions, bus/train station and a 30-minute subway ride to the Reagan airport. I stayed with my mom, who fell in love with this house. I would definitely come and stay here again and I strongly recommend it to all the travelers.
We really enjoyed our short stay in Washington. Heather was always very helpful, thanks again! The rooms were absolutly amazing, especially the bathroom. The House is in a quiet neighorhood and just a few minutes walk from The Capitol or Eastern Market.
Next time, we'll stay longer!
It was a great experience, everything went as expected, and Heather was the greatest host ever... she was very helpful and allways available when we needed. I would definitely stay again there and I totally recomend it
