I am thrilled to be finally signing up to airbnb after hearing about it on NPR and wondering what it would be like to participate in this wonderful concept.
My uses for airbnb: Travel, work, pleasure, adventure. I love to travel and have done far too little lately due to grad school. Thankfully, I recently graduated from a doctoral programme in clinical psychology, and I intend on stretching my travel wings shortly.
I used to live in SF and the east bay, and originally I'm from the UK. I am in love with California and adore the outdoor things this state has on offer- Yosemite, the Sierra Nevada, the coast, you name it, I'm all over it.
Other random things about me: I enjoy an eclectic taste in music (mostly mainstream stuff), recently finished watching House of Cards (fabulous), and want to go to the cinema more often.
Something I couldn't live without? Tea. I live up to the British stereotype. I drink a pot of tea every morning before I leave my flat. If I stay with you, I will certainly be bringing tea supplies and buying 2% milk.
I look forward to being your clean and respectful guest. I am like a chameleon ;-) I adapt quickly to my surroundings, and furthermore, if you wish to have a quiet guest, I shall keep to myself. If you want more interaction, I'll surely love to hear all about who you are and what you like about life.
