Real Bahamian, born and raised in the Bahamas. Very friendly and love to show guest the best the Island has to offer.
I like spending time with family, playing beach volleyball and meeting new friends.

Everything was great
Brenda was great, no complaints and I would highly recommend this unit. Beach was beautiful.
Brenda was an extraordinary host. She came to the airport to pick us up and even offered to do a grocery run with us! During our stay she checked in on us several times to make sure all was okay or to tell us about some of the activities that were going on during our stay.
the apartment is exactly as pictured in the ad. it was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the location is great, in a quiet area just a few steps away from a beautiful beach.
A definite recommendation.
Very clean beautiful accommodations . Brenda was Fabulous and kind .The beach was easy to access and impressive scenery with few people .
Will return soon .
For anyone looking for an affordable stay outside of the tourist area Brenda's apartment is a perfect location. My girlfriend and I were a little worried about using Air BnB but this trip eased all of our concerns. Brenda as a host was amazing! As everyone else has stated she picked us up from the airport (as well as dropped us off) and took us shopping for groceries when we arrived. She gave us a wealth of information about the area including restaurants, public transportation and general info about downtown. She was always available for questions, gave us a heads up about the weather (when the best days for the beach versus tourist things were) and even checked in via email to make sure we didn't need anything. The apartment itself was immaculate and perfect for my girlfriend and I including dishes and pots/pans for cooking and eating. There were plenty of sheets, towels and even travel size shampoo and body wash in case you forgot which we thought was a nice touch. The wifi was fast and when we did watch tv the channel selection was just like the options we have in the US. As for the surrounding area there were maybe five people on the beach for the majority of our stay so it was very quiet and enjoyable. We were there during a cold front and still had an amazing time on the beach and managed to get a lot of sun. We walked to down to both Compass Point and Nirvana (down the beach) to eat lunch and dinner while we were there. Everyone was friendly and the food was amazing. We also enjoyed Aquafire (across from Compass Point) on our last day (best meal we had the entire vacation). The location is a short walk to the street/bus stop area so we had no issues getting public transportation. We felt extremely safe walking around and even on grounds. Brenda drove us into town one night and gave us a rundown of everything in the area (fish fry, the local college, best areas to hang out and shop). Taking a taxi to/from downtown can be pricey but that seems to be the case everywhere we went so we alternated between bus and taxi. The views from the property and the areas around were great! We talked to locals at restaurants/bars we visited and felt very at home around the area. I can't imagine a better host than Brenda. From beginning to end she made our trip amazing. We will definitely be back to see her again and are recommending friends stay here as well.
Not much we can add to the reviews already here. Brenda was the perfect host. She picked us up and dropped us off at the airport with a grocery store run to boot. The apartment was just as described and impeccably clean.
Our weather was totally uncooperative for the entire trip which was unfortunate. Brenda felt terrible every day the wind would blew which only goes to demonstrate how much she wants her guests to have an enjoyable stay.
We walked up to Compass Point (on the beach) every day to catch the bus into town, to the grocery, etc. This was an experience in itself where we met many colorful locals. All nice for the most part. We had a great lunch at Athenia (think that's right) downtown and a true Bahamian meal at Twin Brothers in the area known as The Fish Fry. Groceries and restaurants pretty pricey by American standards but once we knew that it wasn't a problem.
One thing to keep in mind is without transportation you will need to be smart about groceries. We chose to have a big late lunch and then something light in the evening we could prepare ourselves.
Overall a fun time and if the weather had been better it would have been perfect. If you are looking for a low key vacation where the star of the show is a quiet beach, this is your place. We'll try again.
Brenda is much more than a "super host". She is like an angel of God. During our stay in Nassau my wife got very sick. Brenda gave us all the support we needed: she drove me every day to the hospital, brought me dinner, gave us some medicins.
By the way: the appartment is fantastic: located direct on Love Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. The flat features a full equiped kitchen, and is very clean. Be sure you will be in a wonderful place if you choose Brenda's flat!
This was a perfect spot for us. Brenda met us at the gate and gave us everything we needed. Beautiful spot on Love Beach, great for two people. We hired a car which is a necessity for us as we have lots of friends to visit. The beach was picture perfect with Compass Point at the end where you could get lunch or dinner.
My 2 adult daughters and I spent 4 wonderful days at this apartment. The apartment was meticulously clean and very new. The kitchen was well equipped for making breakfast, lunch and preparing snacks. The bathroom and shower were wonderful. The bed and futon were extremely comfortable. Yes, the futon was so comfortable. Our walk to the beach was 600 ft. Brenda provided comfortable lounge chairs for each of us as well as beach towels. Brenda was a wonderful host. She picked us up at the airport and dropped as off when we left. She brought us to the grocery store and liquor store before arriving at the apt so that we had all of our supplies. She even drove us to dinner on 2 nights. She is so pleasant and helpful. There are 2 restaurants within a short walk down the beach. One of them is right on the water with a great view of sunset. The other was directly across the street from the first restaurant. We were in the Bahamas for a nice, laid back time and we got that. If you are looking for action at night, you probably want to rent a car or stay closer to town. There is a bus to take into town, but it stops running at 6pm. We had no trouble get our 3 minute cab ride home each night after dinner. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a relaxing time to get away from it all.
Brenda was so helpful in meeting me at the airport and showing me to a market and liquor store. The apartment was very comfy and very spacious. I felt right at home. Brenda was kind enough to give me many tips on all the places I wanted to visit.
The beach behind the apartment is a wonderful place to relax and is beautiful every time of the day but the sunsets are spectacular.
There is. beachside bar close by that is a must...especially at sunset.
I'd gladly stay with Brenda again. She's a sweetheart.
Brenda's apartment was great and just what my boyfriend and I needed for a few relaxing days before heading back to the real world. The house is right by the beach and an easy walk to a few different restaurants. We really liked Compass Point, about a 15 minute walk along the beach - they even had vegan options! Brenda was a very gracious host, picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, and was very understanding after a pickup location misunderstanding. Highly recommend.
