I enjoyed my stay at Rachel's studio. It is conveniently located to the Metro (about a five minute walk) and 10 to 20 minutes by Metro from the city center, Gare du Nord and Gare du Lyon railway stations. It's about 40 minutes from CDG. She gave me easy directions for accessing the apartment, and tips on places to visit in that neighborhood. Rachel's studio comes complete with a kitchen, wifi, washing machine, clean sheets, towels, and all one would need for cooking in the flat. It's a very quiet apartment building. The neighborhood felt safe, and I was traveling alone as a female. On Fri and Sat nights things get a little loud on the street but that's normal for a big city! There is a LIDL supermarket nearby and several affordable restaurants and bars just steps from the flat. I would recommend this location!
Rachel's studio is charmingly curated with art and furniture, and all the amenities that one could need for a comfortable stay.
Recommended for travellers staying in Paris for more than a few days, those arriving by train (close to Gare du Nord and Gare de L'Est) and those who are interested in more than just the major tourist destinations. The neighborhood offers easy access to less traveled Parisian gems like Parc des Buttes Chaumont, Parc de La Villette, Cite de la Musique, St. Ouen flea market and the budding Belleville scene.
We loved that Rachel walked us through the entire process via email, was reachable by phone, and even left us a helpful letter full of tips of things to do around the neighborhood. Her tip about the local market lead us to have a fantastic picnic of local cheeses, pates, and produce, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks to Rachel, we would absolutely visit again!
The apartment was GREAT! Had such character and was a really nice place to come back to everyday. Rachel was a super host and prepared everything for our stay! Will have ever lasting memories of our stay in Rachals gorgeous home. Thank you Rachal :)
