Luca was great about communicating with us. He was very responsive to our questions. The apt. Is clean and comfortable in a fantastic location off the Main Street in Vernazza. I would definitely recommend Luca's apt. And would stay there again.
Thank you; we had a great time in Vernazza.
La Bloo was in a beautiful, perfect location in Vernazza. We loved waking up to the sound of the ocean and waking right downstairs into the Main Street of Vernazza. Luca was very responsive and helpful. We had some trouble with the hot water and he was quick to respond. Some advice for others with the hot water: make sure the boiler is on, give it an hour to warm up, and shower fast as it doesn't last long! Overall a beautiful place to stay in Vernazza though!
Luca's apartment was easy to find, thanks to his very clear directions, and he was very patient with us answering all our questions about Italy, the Cinque Terre, and transportation in the area. The apartment was comfortable and in a great location. It was clean and well stocked to make our visit very enjoyable. We would definitely stay again.
We enjoyed staying at Lucas studio very much it was in a great location and had everything we needed. We caught up with Luca for a coffee and he gave us some good suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Would definitely recommend the studio and we found Vernazza to be a good place to stay when visiting the Cinque Terra. Thanks Luca for having us ☺
Thank you so much Luca for sharing this lovely home. The views are so beautiful, I can't express what we experienced. Luca was information, helpful for places to eat and provided us with business cards for tours in the area in case we wanted to do anything else besides enjoy a glass of wine and the view and hike the Cinque Terre.
We stayed in Il Conventino for 3 nights over Easter 2015. The house is very charming with vintage furniture and modern bathrooms. Location is perfect, just couple of minutes from Piazza Marconi (main square in Vernazza). The view from house is probably best in town, facing Vernazza harbour. There is a train tunnel nearby, but it didn't bothered us, we had a good sleep.
We were planning to arrive at 3pm, but all trains were sold out, we could only buy tickets on 8pm arrival. Luca quickly responded to my message, send us photo and directions and also met us at the transit town (Genova). He was very responsive and easy to communicate with.
We had a wonderful stay at Luca's apartment.
As a host Luca has excellent communication and we felt very well looked after. We were met by the lovely Miriana who ensured we knew where everything was.
The apartment is in a fantastic location, quiet and private (but bring an eye mask for sleeping - the streetlight outside is very bright!), yet so close to the main street where we enjoyed having a drink as the sun set and trying a different restaurant each night. Great location too for setting off on the many different walks available.
We recently enjoyed 8 nights in il Conventino, and were very pleased with this rental. The house is well described at airbnb, and we found it very comfortable, and provided easy access and wonderful views of Vernazza. We will miss sitting with the door’s open, enjoying the sounds and sight of the sea during early morning and evening. Luca was very attentive to our needs, and was quick to follow-up on any issues or questions. He met us at the trainstation and walked with us to the house. We would love to go back again, in the summer, when we could take full advantage of what il Conventino has to offer. We can strongly recommend this rental, especially if you have a larger group (4-8 persons).
We were welcomed by a very accommodating and helpful friend of Luca's, Nadia. Vernazza is as difficult to access as advertised, especially after rainstorms. She patiently waited for us to go around by other roads that had not been washed out. The studio with mezzanine was as expected - a well-equipped kitchenette, ample towels and sheets, in a historical building in the very heart of town. The area in November is very damp and the apartment (and many other places) smells strongly of mildew, to which one becomes accustomed within minutes, but it's a surprise on entry despite the presence of a dehumidifier. The shower is surprisingly spacious and with plenty of hot water. A hair dryer is provided as well as a TV and ample outlets for all gadgets. There is a welcome vestibule to leave muddy boots and umbrellas. Sunday morning 7 a.m. there is an "angelus" - 24 strokes of the church bell, be forewarned! as well as every hour from multiple churches, just a part of the charm. The streetlight shines strongly into the lower part of the studio at night; bring a sleeping mask if such bothers you, but you won't need a nightlight, either. The place is tiled below, and wood floor in the mezzanine, with modern taste, recently redone, and with high ceilings. Luca kindly provides condiments, sugar, and coffee and tea in the morning - though for coffee, you must adapt to the Italian espresso style and the iconic Bialetti maker (we did, gladly)!
The most excellent possible property in Vernazza. Comfortable rooms in an old property with fabulous views from almost every room. The dining/kitchen/ living area is with beautiful views of the harbor and town. Perfect sunsets every night. Owner left fruit to welcome us (and bottle of Champagne). We arrived at 10:30 PM and needed that.
Everything perfect! Flexible, cool guest, easy smooth fast and efficient communication, left my apartment neat, no problems whatsoever. Highly recommended!
Very neat and easygoing, I personally didnt know them, but my flatmates did and they were glad of meeting them!
I had a great time in Luca's apartment, the place is unique, evocative and confortable. I know Luca since 20 years and I'm sure he's a nice and friendly host !
Luca is a friend since I was a little child. I had the privilege of staying at "il Conventino" several times and it was a fantastic experience.
Even if too many years have passed away, the reflection of the sea on the ceiling of my room at the Conventino, the smell of the Mediterranean summer, the stunning agave in bloom that you can find everywhere are still in my memory and I'm eager to keep them alive.
Luca is a great host, if you have the chance to meet him you'll notice it for sure.
Luca is a great host. His friendness and courtesy will let you very happy and the Conventino is a lovely place with amazing view I strongly suggest to rent.
You can ask Luca to give you infos about where to go or where to eat and you can completely trust him: he won't disappoint you.
If you want to have a unique experience in Vernazza rent Luca's places!
Hi would like to strongly recommend Luca as house guest not only for his sympathy but also in his ability in communication and problem solving. Conventino is a really lovely place strongly suggested to chill out in the wonderful atmosphere of 5 Terre.
È una villa magnifica sul mare della perla delle cinque terre .ottima ospitalità come da tradizione del proprietario . Consigliato per chi vuole una vacanza diversa dal sorito turismo di massa
