I love books, movies, music and food. I love traveling - specially in the South of Italy, USA and North of Europe - and discover new flavor, style of life, language.

wonderful enchanting location and very charming Flavia - i want to come back as soon as i can - alles WUNDERBAR!
We were greeted by a friendly man who was very helpful getting us set up in the flat. Gave us plenty of time an answered all our questions. Neighborhood was close to heart of town. But was difficult to find. We had clean beds with clean sheets and towels. With that being said when we arrived at the flat we found garbage left under the sink and it smelled badly, dirty dishes in the cupboard, the lighting was very dim and gloomy. It was dim because many light fixture had no bulbs in them. One floor lamp had wires exposed and a lamp in one bedroom had no plug even to access the lamp. The flat had been surfacely cleaned but was not up to other airbn b standards. I expected and old flat but I did not expect a dirty flat. We felt under comfortable using cooking items because coffee cups we found dirty in the cupboard and the coffeepot had coffee and stagnet coffee grounds in it. We went out to eat and left as early was was possible. We were uncomfortable not because of the flats age but cleanliness. We won't be going back. Beware
Our host was very friendly and welcomed us to our temporary home. The location was wonderful right in the centre of town. Unfortunatley it had a drawback being close to local Trattoria, was noisy until very late at night, sleep in the back room it is much quieter.
WIFI did not work and although Flavia did try tofix for us. A great Italian exprience in a real old apartment.
Flat has very good location and is really cute and nice. It was just two of us but it's definitely big enough for another two ppl. We communicated with Flavia just via phone and got keys from her brother, but everything was ok! :) thank you!
Perfect location, beautiful old palace, so you get the full Lucca dosis! Don't expect anything modern, it's a trip back to medieval ages. Flavia is prompt and flexible, you have ease of mind! Absolutely recommended!
I stayed in Flavia's apartment for three days with some friends while we visited Lucca. I am litteraly copying another guest's review, as it perfectly fits my experience.
The flat is very conveniently located, close to the hystorical center, shops and restaurants. You are right off of the main tourist shopping street but on a quiet side street so it isn't noisy, and it's very easy to get anywhere. The apartment isn't quite as big and bright as the pictures suggest but perfectly comfortable, charming and full of history. One reviewer mentioned the floors not being clean, I think they are just really old terra cotta tile that has worn down a bit and that's as clean as it gets, just bring some flip flops if you don't like rough floors. Our only real complaint was the bathroom, there is no where to put your towels to dry and the shower is very small. Water from the shower runs slowly.
Flavia was very nice. The wifi was not working when we stayed there, but Flavia notify this to us before and it was not a problem.
Thank you Flavia for a lovely stay!
We loved our stay in Flavia's apartment. It was well stocked and the location couldn't have been better.
My husband and I stayed in Flavia's apartment for two days while we visited Lucca. It was very conveniently located, though it is definitely not 10 minutes from the train. I'd suggest a cab if you have luggage. Our only real complaint was the bathroom, there is no where to put your towels to dry and the shower is very small (the curtain touches you, gross). Water from the shower runs straight onto the bathroom floor no matter what you do.
Flavia was very nice and eager to help with restaurant recommendations and calling cabs etc., just make sure she writes down the wifi password for you. Oh, and the wifi hotspot is awesome, but FYI it works best outside or on the windowsill when you are in the apartment.
Thank you for a lovely stay!
