I'm from Eugene but currently reside in San Francisco with my husband and new baby boy.
The cabin was nice, clean and cozy with plenty of room for 5 of us and our dog. The property was peaceful and we enjoyed walking in the road through the forest.
Spent a week here and enjoyed every minute! Staying here feels very much like you are in the countryside, surrounded by trees and up a long driveway, but it's really not far from Eugene. Cabin was in tip top shape when we arrived. This is a second home for the owners, so there was no clutter, just nice decor that quickly made it feel like home. Dramatic windows along one wall in the dining room and living room were a beautiful backdrop to time spent inside the cabin. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Thanks, Jesica!
We had a wonderful family vacation at the Brennans' beautiful home.
My husband and I came to San Fran with our nanny and two girls, ages 3 and 20 months, to visit my little sister and new three month old nephew. We couldn't have asked for a more comfortable, inviting place to hang out.
The Brennans have an absolutely gorgeous, spacious home with a lovely backyard. The place is thoughtfully furnished with art and books. It has lovely architectural details and an AMAZING kitchen. The kitchen is huge. There was plenty of space for a family to eat around the butcher block island--which I loved--or sit at the breakfast bar and watch the kids in the backyard through the glass doors. The Brennan's even have a garden. Tomatoes were delicious!
My family and I had a more casual trip, but I could see how this house would be great for entertaining. The whole home is wired for sound and everything is controlled through an iPad that makes it easy to listen to music, record a show on cable,, or even monitor a baby. I want to copy this set up in my home now.
There is a great heat lamp outside for cooler nights as well as speakers. And the house is stocked with enough place settings to feed an army.
Also, the Brennans leave a detailed packet for guests explaining how everything in the house works and where things are located--complete with pictures. Very helpful.
The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The master has a great view of the city. The nursery was the perfect place to put my nephew down for a nap while my sister and I hung out downstairs.
The location couldn't be better for a family. A fantastic park is located just down the road and there's a great brunch place--toast--right around the corner. It was so easy getting around with this house as home base.
I really loved staying here and feel very fortunate that the Brennan's shared their home. It made our trip so relaxing to be in such a wonderful place.
We spent two nights in this beautiful home. It felt like we were in the middle of the woods all alone, it is so private. The beds were so comfortable and they had really beautiful bedding and plush towels. Great, great place to stay!
We were in Oregon for a few days to see the area my husband grew up. This house was in a beautiful setting and was well appointed. It worked out perfectly for my family of 5. It was so nice to be able to prepare meals and spread out a bit after making day trips to see the area. The wifi worked wonderfully for my boys to be able to play games on their tablets, and there was plenty of room outside for them to run around. We saw deer every morning and evening while we were there. The second morning a doe and her small fawn spent about 15 minutes in perfect view from the large windows of the A-frame.
Our host had prepared everything for our arrival. We were very pleased! This was my first experience with AirBNB. I will do this again! It is a great alternative for my family to a two bed hotel room! Thanks so much!
We had a lovely stay at this home. The directions and access to the house were so easy. Beautiful, private wooded setting. It was very comfortable and I appreciated the concise checklist for leaving the house. We would recommend it highly if you like a quiet, relaxed setting within twenty to twenty-five minutes of Eugene.
We enjoyed our stay immensely. This A frame cabin was all it was advertised as and more. Two large comfortable bedrooms and two nice sized well located bathrooms. Kitchen was well stocked and large enough to have several people working in it at one time. Lovely setting in the woods and very private. Close enough to Eugene to shop and enjoy the city, but far enough away feel you are in the country. Best of all it was clean and homey. We will be back!
Really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The house is beautiful and Jesica has provided everything you might need for your stay. Everything. Just like being at home.. She is an excellent host. The living room: nice comfy couch, great fireplace with plenty of wood, awesome Apple TV collection. Kitchen: spacious, fully stocked with pots, dishes, appliances, RO drinking water, etc. Bedrooms: beds and pillows were so comfortable, plenty of storage. Bathrooms: super clean, plenty of towels. Washer and dryer were a great plus. Setting was nice and peaceful, you think you were deep in the woods! Location: just a few minutes drive to two chain grocery stores, very convenient. Love this house and would highly recommend staying here on your next visit to the area. Thanks so much Jesica!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house had everything we could wish for to have a comfortable and relaxing vacation. Beds were super comfy, the kitchen is well appointed, and a big bonus for us was the amazing collection of movies and tv shows on Jesica's Apple TV library. I would say that this is the nicest overall vacation rental for this price that we have experienced anywhere. We didn't meet Jesica as she had the house set up for us in advance but she was definitely a responsive and welcoming host.
We really enjoyed our experience at this home. Located in a great country setting that was peaceful, quiet and beautiful. The home was very charming and had all the basics you would need for your stay.
