Originally from Minnesota, lived in San Francisco and now reside in Brooklyn. Work in fashion like to travel.
Hannah and her boyfriend were great hosts and I felt like we were all old friends as soon as I met them. Her place is small but stylized and chic, not to mention that it's located on the ground floor of a nice brownstone (which is a plus for me because I have a bad right knee so walking up and down stairs is not ideal)! My wife and I really enjoyed our time there and at the park across the street...( the farmers market on the corner of the park on Saturday was a great bonus)!!!
Hannah's place was a gem and my stay was wonderful in every regard. As others have said, her apartment is in an excellent location directly across from Ft. Greene Park. She's within comfortable walking distance of several subway lines and there are plenty of restaurants, shops, etc, in the immediate vicinity. (I fell in love with Greene Grape Provisions on Portland and Fulton - check it out when you're there!)
Most importantly, Hannah's place was clean and quite comfortable, with good quality towels and bed linens, which made for an excellent stay. She left clear info and instructions on a laminated sheet in the apartment, so everything fell into place quite easily. In addition, she was a great communicator throughout the entire process. My flight home was cancelled, which resulted in me leaving much later in the day than planned. When I contacted Hannah about a late check out, she was very flexible and accommodating - I could not have asked for better.
To sum it up - if you want a clean, comfortable place in an excellent location in Brooklyn, stay at Hannah's if her space is available. I will certainly check her availability first when I plan my next trip to NYC.
Hannah was an ideal host: waiting for us on her front stoop as we arrived, details of the apartment neatly typed on a laminated sheet left on the kitchen table, and a private, clean, and unbelievably located apartment right at the steps of Ft Greene Park to boot. Highly recommended!
Convenient location, quiet, clean. Was very close to my son’s apt so made it easy to get together. We enjoyed the farmers market on Saturday. Easy to catch a subway into the city.
My boyfriend and I had a great stay at Hannah's cute studio. She was easy to reach and reliable.
Clean towels and bedding, nice eat-in kitchen. The studio is on the basement floor, next to Fort Greene park which is a great location. Lots of restaurants and cafes very close by as well as the subway. Air conditioning worked well which was important as a short but intense heat wave came through. Great Brooklyn stay.
Nice, nice stay...comfortable studio with an eat-in-kitchen (an incredible plus) in a beautiful part of Brooklyn. Nice place, great neighborhood, easy in and out of (email hidden)us Hannah is a gem. What's not to love.
Hannah's place is great, right on the park, wonderful farmer's market on the weekend's and as close as you could ask to all the best Fort Greene has to offer. I used to live on this block and it was great to see the neighborhood is even better than it used to be. Highly recommended.
Hannah's parents were great! They were easy to get in touch with and they left the place remarkably clean...
