I am a French Canadian that moved to Barcelona in 2007. I selected this city because it offers all that I like: Sea, vibrant cultural city, mountains nearby, and the possibility of traveling easily all over.
Apart from Canada, I have lived in the USA (Fl-Ca-Tx), in the French Alps, south of France and I have also lived on my sailboat during which I sailed extensively the Carribeans and the Bahamas(also a bit of the Med).
I love skiing, snowshoeing, sailing, roller-blading and bicycling if that tells you something.
I have tried many things, all the way to rock-climbing and paragliding and if I were younger I would definitely be a kite-surfer/kite-skier .
I have worked in different environments, from sailing association, to wildlife conservation centre, to travel agency, marketing research and now specializing in Management software implementations. I work for a Catalan NGO
As a guest, I am non intrusive, very independent but love to share whatever experience you want me to participate in.
As a host, it's a little bit the same. I can inform you as to what is interesting, and if my totally crazy work schedule allows it, I can join you to some local bar or restaurant, or to a beach terrace to watch the moon rise.
I have always enjoyed meeting new people and new cultures; and share (website hidden) and experiences with them. I am always looking forward to my next trip.
