Lula is very nice and friendly girl, it is interesting to talk to her and to know more about Israel, she can advice you nice cafes and bars in the nearby area. It is fun to spend time with here. Her apartment is nice, clean and the same as described. The location of the apartment is good because it is close to the Old city and to the Givat-Ram. Also in the neighborhood lots of bars are located.
It is indeed a very nice location in the city center. Close to all the cafes, stores (the ones open in Shabat and holidays), 15 minutes walk away from the Old City. Regarding calm - well - there is construction going on just next doors but we were aware of it before we came. Lula is a very positive and energetic person who will take you on tour in Jerusalem. You wil definitely have the chance to see some places off the beaten track. Lula's flatmate - Nir - is also a great guy who we enjoyed talking to a lot.
Room is very basic, kitchen is okay for anyone willing to cook.
Lula is nice and easy going. The location is great!! The room and the entire apartment are very basic, don't expect anything fancy at all... However, for one night it was okay!
I spent more than three weeks als Lula's place. She is a great host and does everything that her guests feel comfortable und welcome. From the first day on she constantly helped me with everything, invited me for food, coffee or Shabbat dinner with friends. She even took me around on Purim, the "Jewish carnival".
The neighborhood ist fantastic. It's city center and erverything you need ist around, coffee places, restaurants, the market place and so on. Important also for non-Shabbat-observant travelers that the few places and stores that are open on Shabbat are in the very street and around. Also is the Sherut (taxi/bus) that brings you to Tel Aviv 24/7.
The building is beautiful, one of the most beautiful houses I know in Jerusalem. It is kind of an oasis in city center. Though don't expect too much calm. The construction site is heavy, people around are screaming and slamming doors at every hour and the flatmate is a musician who also loves to play a lot. But this is actually nothing special for this site but a common phenomenon in Jerusalem.
Overall: A perfect host, a great building and one of the best neighborhoods for travelers.
I had other hosts in Jerusalem, and Lula ist the one I recommend most. Sad that I neededs to leave.
wow David! im excited to read(: you're welcome everytime of course!
It was so nice to meet Lula, her roommate and her friends! I´m realy blessed and it was a good experience in her house. It was a perfect base from where we could explore Jerusalem.
Lula is a good host from the first contact on.
Miss you guys! Hope to see you again! :-)
Lula has been very friendly and helpful since the moment we began to exchange info online. She personally guided us on the city streets as we tried to locate a free parking place and walked us back to her apartment while telling us all kinds of stuff about the neighborhood on the way.
Her spacious room is exactly like she described it in the listing. Despite the inclement weather in Jerusalem during our stay, it still feels cozy to lie in the sofa or bed. The kitchen is equipped with an exhaustive assortment of cooking utensils and condiments and various grocery stores can be found within several blocks in the area. We cook our own dinner every evening to avoid the high costs in restaurants. My wife and I even cooked to celebrate the Chinese new year, just as the snowstorm hit town - it was so fascinating.
Lula's flatmate Nir and his friends are a cool and nice bunch of guys too. We had quite a chat with Nir, who took a particular interest in the Chinese culture.
The heavy snow caused the highways in and out of town to be closed but Lula kindly offered us to stay an extra night free of charge. Although we checked out as planned as the road closure was soon lifted, her warm-hearted gesture was still welcome and reassuring.
We absolutely love the memorable days and nights spent at this place!
Lula met us at the tram stop and it was like meeting an old friend. Her warmth and sweetness shine through her contagiously. She brought is home and we met her roommates, who also became instant friends. Musicians and Artists, highly intelligent and interesting people with open minds and hearts. We talked, ate, laughed, discussed, drank and laughed some more. Their apartment is right downtown and though it is not at all a quiet neighborhood, it was definitely a great area. We loved meeting these wonderful people who we now consider to be our new friends. Our stay in Jerusalem would not have been the same without these lovely people. What. gift to have met them all. We look forward to seeing them again and to having them visit us. We look forward to being able to show them the same hospitality they showed us!!

AMAZING! Lula a été parfaite! Vraiment génial, ma meilleure expérience airbnb. Je recommande vivement
Lula is an amazing person, as are her friends. Truly, it was one of the best hosting experiences we had, even if couldn´t hang with them as much as I wanted and missed their famous dinner parties, they ended up staying a little bit more. I feel we were very lucky to meet them, such great spirits and friends to visit very soon!
