Hi there! In terms of my background, I'm from the NY area, graduated from MIT back in 2005 with degrees in Math and Finance, traded derivatives on Wall Street in NY and at a hedge fund in Boston for four years after that, decided I didn't want to do that going forward and am currently finishing up my final year of business school at UCLA Anderson in Los Angeles, CA. This past summer, I interned at Cisco in Silicon Valley, and am currently considering returning there full-time after I graduate in June 2012.
Currently, I'm studying abroad this Fall at HEC Paris, and have been traveling around Europe and makng the most out of my time here (in addition to Paris, I've already been to Barcelona, Brussels, Milan, Tuscany, Stockholm, Bergen, and plan to visit Amsterdam, Berlin, Nice/Monaco, and London before I head back to the states.
Haha you're probably thinking "nerd alert" right now...I can try to act cooler, but as I get older (I'm 28), I seem to be losing touch with the youth of today. However, I can give you an idea of my personality and interests. I'm pretty laid back, happy, and social, love music (I sing in the school a cappella group and play drums in two different bands), running, and dancing (salsa and wedding dance floors especially haha).
When I visit cities, my main interests are learning the history and culture, being outside and exploring, and going to an occasional concert if the timing works out. Generally, I'm not out too late, and I like to be doing things during the day rather than late into the night. Thanks. Happy travels!
All the best,
