Simla was a great host! The neighborhood is fun and Divisadero is a short three blocks. The park is beautiful and it's a short 20 minute bike ride to SOMA for tech jobs. The bike lanes are big and it is right near a bus stop that will take you downtown. Great studio!
Simla was just fantastic from the beginning. She met me at the apartment, was VERY easy to get a hold of via text or phone, showed me around and gave me some great tips on the neighborhood. She would check in from time to time and always answered if I had questions or needed anything. The apartment was exactly as described and absolutely adorable. The neighborhood is cute and very safe. It's two blocks from the park, which made it great to go on runs! Easy to get basically to any part of the city and very close to the bus line. The apartment itself was in great condition, very cute, old Victorian style. Small kitchen and bathroom, but definitely felt big enough for one person. I loved it. Simla also let me borrow her garage and always went out of her way to help me out. Excellent!
Simla was awesome and her place was perfect. She was extremely welcoming and always answered any questions I had. She helped me find somewhere to park my car and suggested places for me to go and see. I would 100% recommend her place to anyone.
It's an awesome place and, Simla was the best!!!
I spent an incredible month in San Francisco and staying with Simla in her beautiful apartment was a huge part of what made my trip so enjoyable!
The apartment is exactly as the photos show, very clean and had everything I needed during my stay (including the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in!). Trader Joe's is just around the corner and there are also some really great places to eat out nearby too.
The location was absolutely perfect, ideal for sightseeing at the weekend (following all of Simla's amazing recommendations) and also a really nice 35-40 minute walk to UCSF Parnassus campus which is where I was working. On lazy days I was also able to take the UCSF shuttle from Laurel Heights to Parnassus (Laurel Heights was about 8 minute walk from the apartment and Mt Zion campus was about 15 minutes walk).
I would highly recommend staying at Simla's place, it was my first airbnb experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one! I'm already missing staying here and can't wait to catch up with Simla the next time I'm in SF.
Super clean private room in an awesome neighborhood. Simla was a great host and very accommodating, she helped to guide me around the city with great recommendations on food, sights, and public transit. She was also quick to respond and transparent when negotiating dates & check in/check out, and physically around for both to make key transfers very easy. Overall, a great experience in San Francisco.
Simla is a great host and her flat is lovely. The flat is in a good location, clean and stylish. Simla is a very helpful and easy going person. I would definitely recommend.
Hello everybody, I can recommend this host for sure. Simla is a very friendly and helpful person. She gave me a lot of information, where are the hotspots of the city. Furthermore the location is awesome, everything what you need is located really near to this host. I will stay at Simla's place again , if I come back again. All the best ;-) Stefan
Staying at Simla's was extraordinary! She is generous, graceful, and professional. Her artistic sense shines in her personality and home decor. The inner Richmond location is convenient, including easy access to 38 Limited Geary (bus), Gold Gate Park, Palace of Legion of Honor, Sea Cliff (beautiful homes, China Beach, Baker Beach, Land's End Park), Clement Street (restaurants, bars, farmer’s market), and Trader Joe's (market).
Simla was a lovely host—clean, kind, and very respectful of space— and the room was perfect for my first month in San Francisco. We shared lots of great conversation during those four weeks, and on check-out day, she so kindly drove me (and all of my stuff) to my new apartment across town so that I wouldn't have to call a cab. For anyone new to San Francisco, the location is just as fantastic as the host. It's a 5-minute walk to Target and Trader Joe's, and the 38 bus stop is just around the corner. I would highly recommend this airbnb to anyone. Thank you again Simla!
