Je vis à Paris et j'adore voyager.
My parents and I stayed in Audrey's apartment for 4 days and had no problems getting to all the sites. The little kitchen was great for saving time when it came to breakfast and with grocery stores right around the corner and bakeries all around, we saved a lot of money by not having to eat out every meal. Thanks Audrey for the lovely experience.
We spent two weeks at Audrey's apartment and enjoyed it very much. She was extremely helpful, lent us an iron and a salad spinner etc.
The apartment was big enough and well organized enough for 3 people, the bed and the sofabed were both comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare simple meals, salt and oil were already there when we arrived, also a welcome bottle of wine, coffee, jam and stuff. The only thing we missed was a little table for eating, we took or meals at the breakfast bar which is only moderately comfortable. A few stops by Metro got us everywhere we needed (or wanted) to go. I recommend the apartment to everybody who wants to stay in Paris; you will find it very enjoyable.
Audrey was very kind and helpful, but at the time we were there we had had absolutely no hot water----not really her fault.
Being a first time user of AirBnB I was a bit apprehensive at the whole concept but all those fears were allyed after meeting Audrey.
If everyone on AirBnB is as nice as Audrey I'd have to say that hotels will probably go out of business.
Our stay at her appartment was near perfection. We were minutes away from from two metro lines and grocery stores. I didn't find the travel into downtown complex or difficult and in the end taking the public transportation of a city shows you some of it's character!
We were 4 people staying at appartment, space was not an issue. Lots of storage space via the closet. Pretty much exclusively furnished in Ikea so you'll feel pretty comfortable in the apartment.
We really enjoyed sitting in the kitchen counter area eating breakfast.
Only thing to keep in mind is that the toilet is seperate. Nothing wrong persay but it's a bit awkward for the unfamiliar.
We could not have had a better place to stay at for our first visit to Paris! The flat is close to both the 5 and 7 metro lines, which take you ANYWHERE you need to go with ease. We arrived via Eurostar and paid about 10 euro later at night to get a taxi to the flat -- easy!
There are loads of maps and guides in the house so you can easily plan when you arrive. Audrey left us with helpful hints and helped us orient ourselves.
My mom and I would say the flat is roomier than the pictures show! Getting a full-size shower and a large kitchen area for breakfast at this price is a steal!
I will certainly stay with Audrey the next time I'm in Paris!
Audrey was a wonderful host (prepared with tons of useful information) and the location of her apartment was ideal. Eclectic and diverse location coupled with accessibility to public transportation make this spot a superb launching pad for a tour of Paris. Audrey's warmth and friendliness and the charming nature of her accommodation really enhanced our stay. I would recommended Audrey to all those looking for a resting spot that guarantees comfort, ease, and charm.
Audrey was a wonderful host - we locked ourselves out on a Saturday night and she took the time to come over and unlock it before we went out. We loved the apartment, with loads of towels, a nice little kitchen, a huge fridge, and everything you need to make a nice meal. We loved eating breakfast at the bar every morning. The apartment is conveniently located near the 5 and 7 metro lines, and we were able to get all over Paris with ease from these stops. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the place to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing vacation in Paris.
The apartment is in a wonderful neighborhood with an eclectic mix of people which was really charming. The location, just a few blocks from the Metro and the canal was perfect for getting to other locations in town or taking a casual walk along the "beach." From the welcoming cookies and wine to spot-on recommendations for where to shop and eat, Audrey was a super hostess and the apartment could not have been any better! Would not only recommend staying with Audrey, we would personally try to book this apartment on our next visit to Paris.
Audrey is an amazing host and conveniently lives less than 15mins away from the apartment. We could not have asked for better accommodation. Not only is the nighbourhood safe but the proximity to basic services makes the location prime. Three modes of transportation available: bus, metro and boat. Yes boat! The canal is about 100m a street over. I could shower her with praises but from the other positive reviews she's received you can attest that they are legitimate.
Will recommend this place to my visiting friends and am likely to stay at her place again.
Thanks for making out stay almost like being home.
Audrey contacted me long before she came to my apartment with her husband and brother. Already in the email I was impressed by her gentle and sincere way of speaking: I got the idea of a very responsible, polite and friendly person. I couldn’t be there when they arrived so my parents met them instead of me. Afterwards they were really enthusiastic about them and kept telling how friendly and nice they were, how they took good care of the house, how nice it was to talk with them and so on. I saw my self that the apartment was left in really perfect condition. I surely recommend Audrey, Michel and Thomas to all hosts and I am sure that for my next trip to Paris I will choose their apartment for my stay!
I would recommend Audrey with one eye shut! She is a very good friend of mine and I can tell without faltering that she is somebody very reliable and thoughtful. She usually doesn't half-do things when she's starting something and even do personal touches, which you'd probably wouldn't find anywhere else. She won't hesitate to give nice recommendations depending of what you're looking for, another precious thing to have...! Her apartement is a pleasant place to stay in, sunny and warm, and located in an area developing constantly in a very positive way, near the modern La Villette's park and its places to visit, les Buttes Chaumont's old and charming park (one of my favorite), the canal's life with its cafés, restaurants and cinemas, typical french bowls game, etc.... And it's only about 15mn away to Paris historic center by metro.
I think you can't be disappointed to cross Audrey's road and the reviews she'got on her page won't contradict me.
