What a wonderful apartment! Set outside a beautiful basilica, near the main train station, and with a grocery store and tasty restaurants near by, our stay was convenient and comfortable for 3 persons. The place was clean, cool, and comfortable inside and on the porch area. Gemma is great at staying in contact with the guest and making arrival smooth. Would definitely recommend.
We enjoyed our stay at Gemma's place in Rome. It was very comfortable, especially with the AC as it was very hot during our stay! The location is perfect for first time visitors to Rome and was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see.
Before you arrive, make sure you have specific directions on where to meet. We were confused when finding the location and we would suggest asking for landmarks to meet near such as a restaurant or bar.
We had an issue with the wireless internet but once we told Gemma she was quick to fix it!
Again, a great place to stay and we would recommend it to anyone.
We truly enjoyed our stay in Rome. The location was perfect and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go with little trouble. The rooftop terrace is magical. It was fun drinking wine out there while enjoying the view. The AC worked well also, which was a huge plus after site-seeing in the heat of the summer. The only small issue we had was that the wifi didn't work. Otherwise, we had a fantastic time here!
Gemma's apartment was great; located close to the train station and some cool sites like the Colosseum. The apartment is one the top floor and has a lift, making it easy on travelers with backpacking gear. While Gemma couldn't be there for our arrival, she was responsive and helpful. The air conditioned apartment was ideal in the Roman heat, however the wifi was not working while we were there despite our efforts to reset it. While we alerted Gemma to the problem, she couldn't lend a hand due to other circumstances, which made it tough to check into flights, etc.
Luckily there's a pretty good cafe downstairs with wifi. It also has some damn good gelato, so if you're in an Internet pinch, grab a scoop or six and log in from there.
We LOVED our stay at Gemmas apartment. The location cannot be beat. Walking distance from Roma termini and the terrace had epic views of Santa Maria maggiore, Vatican and the coloseum. The amenities were as advertised, the apartment was very clean and comfortable. Of course, the neighbors especially Colette were very nice and helpful. Cheers!
We were met at the door by a lovely man and I'm sorry to say I've forgotten his name but he was extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment was even better than the pictures. Beautiful and modern. Bed really comfortable. The terrace is amazing with a fabulous 360 view. Oh and there is a lift !!!! We will definitely come back. Don't bother staying anywhere else. It's perfect
Gemma was easy to contact, very helpful and accommodating. The apartment was beautiful, inside and out. Fantastic views on the terrace!
Wonderful accommodation in a fantastic location the balcony is outstanding
Amazing central location with a beautiful view over all of Rome. Sights include the colosseum, st Peter's basilica, st maria maggiore, vittorio emanuele monument. Very comfortable accommodation and super clean. A/c available which is nice to cool down on a hot summer day.
My Wife and I visited from the U.S. Gemmas apartment was in a perfect location, and very nice. Walking distance from Termini Train Station, taxi station. Walking distance to the Coliseum. The view was absolutely beautiful. Cold AC, hot shower, and very clean. We recommend this to apartment and we will be revisiting and hopefully staying here again. Also the older lady neighbor Collette was very nice and informative about Rome.
