I'm really laid back and enjoy myself going out on the weekends and some weeknights. Love running.. Ran Chicago Marathon (phone number hidden).

Sunil was an excellent host, and the apartment is neat, clean, accessible, and just as described in the listing. The neighborhood is great too - close to a nice breakfast place (The Goddess and Grocer), and a bus stop for a route that will take you straight in to the heart of the city (bus #66). Sunil is very receptive and easy to reach by phone, and was very accommodating when it turned out I would come in in the evening and not in the afternoon as I thought. He's there if you need him, but is not intrusive and will give you your own space. The room is private and has everything you will need. HIGHLY recommended!
Accommodation was easy to find and sunil was very kind
This was the long-stay I was looking for.
1. Great bed. Huge king-sized, semi-firm mattress. Clean bedding and ample, comfortable pillows.
2. The room you will sleep in is equipped with the bed, ample storage for your things, but no chairs. There is a very nice TV with cable and the bathroom is VERY nice. Sunil keeps the bathroom stocked with the essentials.
3. The living area is downstairs and equipped with a nice TV and sound system. It is sparsely furnished, so you'll either enjoy the couch, or the chairs around the dining table. There is a nice washer/dryer and a fully equipped kitchen.
4. The neighborhood is very safe and was a joy to live in. It is a 20 minute walk to the Loop and an 8 Minute walk to the Brown line.
There is a fine Japanese restaurant 5 minutes away, a great bar near that, and a fine little bodega/cafe nearly across the street from the apartment. You'll see mostly young families in the area. I never felt insecure and I walked most of the time and at all times of the day. LOADS of options to eat are within a 10 minute walk. TARGET is a mere 8 minute walk so you won't be lacking in options to shop.
5. Sunil, the host is engaging, kind, and generous. As all great hosts he encourages you to LIVE in his space and does not make you feel lorded over. He is happy to engage you, but like most people he is gone much for work.
Overall, if you're in for a long-haul in Chicago, this is the perfect spot. If you're busy and will be using it mostly as a base home, you'll be very happy.
Very clean, comfortable apartment. Sunil was incredibly accommodating and even allowed me to eat from his pantry, which I especially appreciated what with the harsh weather during that time.
Sunil was an amazing host. Very accommodating and friendly. Also very quick to answer any questions and often went out of his way to ensure our comfort.
The house itself is beautiful. Very clean and well maintained. It's in a gated community which is good because you can stay away from Chicago's hustle and bustle but also close enough that you can walk 15-20 minutes to the Loop. Some good restaurants nearby... Target is less than a 5 minute walk from the house.
The room itself was perfect: good natural sunlight, large size, great washroom. The linens were freshly cleaned and toiletries were also available.
Sunil was an absolutely fantastic host! The room includes a private bathroom, fast wifi and a very comfortable bed. The area is nice and quiet and we really enjoyed the 25 min walk to Magnificent Mile area (though it is also very easy to catch a bus or taxi). Sunil was very welcoming, he was happy to chat and shared lots of useful tips about the city. We had a wonderful stay.
This was one of the most comfortable rooms I've stayed in! The room is fantastically quiet, as it overlooks a pedestrianised private lane. The bed is large and very comfortable.
It's just a minute's walk from the 66 bus, which connects to the Magnificent Mile area, and to the Blue Line to O'Hare, and the L trains are perhaps a 5-7 minute walk away.
Sunil is a friendly and polite host.
The place was great. Clean, comfortable room. Location is good, walking distance to subway, cab stand right nearby. Sunil was very accommodating and helpful.
Sunil is a wonderful host, and I had a fabulous stay at his beautiful home. It's in a great, convenient, and safe area, and the space was large, clean, quiet, and lovely. I would highly recommend it, and definitely hope to stay here again the next time I'm in Chicago.
