Grazie!
We stayed at Adreas' appartment for a week and I can say: we really fell in love with that place!
First of all it is very well located - close to Porta Nuova and only a stone's throw away from all the nice bars and restaurants from the beautiful quarter San Salvario. Though it's very close to the train station you almost don't hear any noises during the night.
Grocery shopping can be done by foot. You'll find shops to meet all your needs. If you should arrive in Torino by car make sure you find yourself a good parking lot. Parking blocks in the city center are really expansive (for 23 h we paid 30 €) and sometimes not open during the specified opening hours.
The apartment is bright and well equipped. In the kitchen you'll find everything for preparing a proper Italian meal, including a big fridge. Mentionable it that the apartment has a pleasant temperature, considering we stayed in December. Hot water is also no problem. An elevator brings up your luggage and spares you to walk to the fifth floor.
The balcony is marvelous: large-scaled, with a view towards the backyard. I can imagine that having breakfast there in summer must be a dream. Our dog enjoyed lying there and catching the last sunbeams of the year.
Andrea was a very obliging host, though we never met him in person. He helped us out with all our concerns! Andrea had prepared everything very lovingly for our arrival: towels, bedclothes, heating. Though we arrived at a unusual time, the handover of the keys was not problem at all. He really accommodated us in every need and arranged everything fuss-free.
Thanks for the pleasant stay. For our next visit in Torino we'll definitely consider a second stay at your place!
Vivamente consigliato!
I loved the apartment - it felt homely and cosy, lots of restaurants and shops really close and easy to get to by foot, just a few minutes walk from the main train station, plenty of bus and tram and metro links. The street itself a little seedy so be wary if nervous, but I found everyone to be really friendly (especially the prostitutes) and the location was hard to beat. There is a lovely terrace to sit outside and in the summer it must be even more amazing. The apartment had all the amenities we needed - well stocked, really comfy bed, good central heating system so I was always warm, which is for me a main concern in winter! It was also the Turin Film Festival and one of the main cinemas hosting the festival was a 10 minute walk away which was great. Andrea was a great host, always responded promptly to my enquiries and was there to meet me and answr any questions I had. I would definitely book and stay again if back in Torino.
The apartment was very lovely and the view from the bedroom is beautiful. I will mention that the area seems to have some unsavory characters but it's convenience to the train station can't be beat.
We had a great stay. The apartment is nice and quite; we enjoyed the balcony. Everything we needed was available. Andrea welcomed us and gave us all the information we needed. Near the station, the subway and the city centre this apartment was the ideal place to stay in Torino.
Che fantastico! Andrea was a great host...also great was the neighborhood (location near Porto Nuova and Central City), kitchen, and terrace! I definitely hope to stay again the next time I'm in Torino! Tutto bene!
I stayed at Andrea s place for a couple of days. Since I had all the place for myself I can't say much about Andrea and Silvia ... We met on the first day when he handed the keys, he then was very nice and did give me some tips on the city and handed me a map of the city centre.
Apartment was great, location was excellent, spot on by the train station. At night though the area felt a little dodgy, but you expect that by the train station, still I felt safe enough to walk in and out with no problem! The place was clean and comfty I did find all I needed and bfast on the terrace was great ... :) def I ll stay again at this place great value for money ... Indeed recommendable
Andrea and Silvia were nice guests. They're very friendly and cleaned up the apartment perfectly.
Nice and polite gentleman
Andrea and colleagues were very nice guests.
They took very good care of my apartment and communication with them was perfect. They're always welcome.
A good breakfast on the terrace is something that you don't want to miss to start your day in Turin. Andrea’s house will welcome you with its cozy, warm vibe and its great light. The apartment, very closed to Porta Nuova Station and the Metro Line, is literally a stone's throw from all the places that are worth a visit in Turin, and also a few steps from the Valentino Park and from the most important shopping streets. It is situated in San Salvario, a very nice and lively neighborhood, full of restaurants, pubs and cultural activities. Despite its position, the apartment is very silent and quiet being at fifth floor. Andrea is a very nice and friendly person, and I'm pretty sure that he will do his best to make your holiday unforgettable.
