Would love to introduce you to lovely Tokyo!
I stayed at Andy's place for three nights, and everything was perfect. The flat is very close to Roppongi, so if you want to go out partying is the perfect place to stay. The underground is four minutes away, and there is a 24h supermarket right away. Also as stayed the view is truly breathtaking, it's really worth it!
I didn't get to see Andy until the last night, since our timing was quite off. But I really felt at home and when I get to talk with him he seemed very nice.
I would love to stay there again.
Very nice room with a nice view of Tokyo from the window. Quite central if you can figüre out the Tokyo subway. Even by taxi, you cam reach anywhere for 20 USD which is fair. I enjoyed it myself and I hope everyone will.
Andy lives in a beautiful building right in Roppongi. The location was perfect and the view was beautiful. I was in town with a larger group staying nearby in the Grand Hyatt, therefore I didn't get to spend as much time as I would have liked visiting with Andy, however the stay was very pleasant and the transaction went without a hitch.
I stayed at Andy's appartment with a friend for 4 nights. It is in Roppongi Hills, a rather posh and relaxed area with excellent transport connections to all places in the city. Lots of places for breakfast and shops around as well. I didn't get to meet Andy in person but the check-in instructions were very clear and communication was without any problems. The place itself is clean, has comfortable bed, wifi, a big bathroom and indeed an excellent view. Would definitely stay again and recommend it.
Our stay at Andy's apartment has exceeded our expectations in lots of aspects. Andy has been a great host and made us feel as if we were in our own home. We stayed a total of 8 nights and we felt very comfortable. The apartment is big compared to japanese standards. In fact, it is much bigger than the pictures posted on the listing.
The guest room is very spacious with a walking wardrobe and an access to a balcony where we could admire the stunning views. The location is also great. It has lots of restaurants, shops and the amazing Mori Tower within walking distance.
Staying in Andy's apartment has been one of the greatest highlights of our holiday in Tokyo. Will definitely book it again in the future and I cannot recommend it enough. Thanks Andy!
Andy has an amazing place in one of the poshest areas of Tokyo, and I certainly enjoyed staying here. Andy keeps his place clean and clutter-free - and really makes sure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Personally, I don't think you can go wrong with this place - sure you are paying a bit more than other listings in Tokyo, but you are getting a stellar and spacious space that is well worth the premium.
Thanks for hosting Andy! Will definitely be back.
Andy has a great place. It is centrally located to everything in Roppongi, and Roppongi is pretty close to everywhere else worth going to in Tokyo. His apartment is part of a very high-end complex, making it feel like you're staying in a classy hotel.
Andy was also great host and very accommodating.
If you're looking to have a good time and enjoying Tokyo's night life, you cannot go wrong with this apartment.
Roppongi Hills is a terrific part of town and Andy was an equally great host. I arrived late on a Saturday night and he accommodated my travel schedule and even came to meet my friend and me for drinks. The apartment is fantastic and the view is indeed breathtaking. I feel I had a much better stay than I would have had I stayed in one of the many expensive hotels in the area.
Andy was very welcoming. His apartment is great. He picked us up promptly at the hotel next to his apartment. The view is truly breathtaking and we had a great time. 3 of us stayed in the room and it was maybe a bit crammed, but managed. Andy even let us have an extra person sleep in the sofa for one night for a little extra charge.
The area is newly built and has every amenity you may need. I particularly recommend a bakery around the corner!
Overall would definitely recommend staying here and would go again myself.
I had a bit of a rough start checking into andy's place. he was away on business trips, and forgot that I'm supposed to come that day, and the reception didn't know about my arrival. I was stressed for about an hour until I've heard back from Andy on the phone (I left him a message, and he made an international call to my cell phone within the hour). luckily everything got sorted out eventually and I got in!
The apartment is really nice, and true to the pictures. it does have a great view of Tokyo. I could generally come and go as I please, as I had a spare key.. (although I had to go through reception each time so that they open the main entrance for me. they were nice , though ) The location is great, and overall my communication with Andy over the phone/email was very good. (I didn't have a chance to meet him in person)
