The Negev is certainly one of the best places to start your time in San Francisco, especially if you' d like to stay for the long term. Danny provides accommodation directly located in the heart of SF and spends lots of passion so that people are being integrated in the Negev family as soon as they arrive. It's not only an awesome place to live but also a whole community of like minded people, in which you can meet tones of interesting people and also make great connections to the Bay Area/Silicon valley startup scene. I highly recommend this place and would move there any time again.
So many "nice to meet you" and "good bye" there are. Personally, I got precious time here and am already missing this place. So exciting place for most of young people, specifically for people from outside the states. Lots of nice bar and clubs, some grocery, liquor shop and cafe, gym closed to Negav. Also, you don't have to kill your time on the weekend, you can easily get kind and funny friends here. Highly recommended!!!
The Negev is the best place I have ever lived. A house full of long term geeks who are uber talented, friendly and fun to hang out with. It is almost like a new way to live in cities in America.
If I hadn't chosen the Negev, I would have missed such awesome experience! Tech talk gives me great insight and lots of thing I need to learn. Besides, all members of this community are so nice and they are specialists in some areas such as engineering, marketing, entrepreneurship and so on. Definitely I will come back soon.
The hacker house is the perfect place to be if you need to meet some cool people. Entrepreneurial environment with the residents and events by the Negev to support it. Because of the Negev I met some very interesting people that will help my startup move forward. It's not a house. It's an ecosystem.
I spent one month at the negev. It was a great experience, I met a lot of very nice and interesting peoples and the weekly family dinner and techtalks were a grate opportunity to exchange.
Great community of hackers and entrepreneurs all living together in a large house. There's always someone to have a chat with, whether you're waking up early in the morning or coming to Negev late at night. There's everything you'll need: big kitchen, fast wi-fi, two large bathrooms.
Staying at the Negev is an excellent way to meet other people in tech. The people there are all very friendly and open to having conversations about anything or just hanging out. Danny is great about organizing tech talks and family dinners for everyone. He'll make you instantly feel like a part of the house, and if you go out with him on the weekends you're guaranteed to have a memorable night.
Good place, good people, good memories. What more can I say? Except that I had the best time at the Negev.
Danny has made a truly awesome community, whether its going to the gym at 1 am or bringing in awesome people for tech talks. Danny makes sure that each guy that comes in has an interesting story and is working on something seriously amazing. The conversations you hear around the kitchen and living room you wont find anywhere else. With barbecues and family dinners, I can't think of any better way to be introduced to San Francisco and its people. The house itself is right in the middle of San Francisco, with a bunch of clubs. It is close to anywhere you would want to go and I never felt unsafe coming back at night. There are pregames, family dinners, and parties quite often and they are always great. Anyone who gets into this place would be lucky to go, because you will meet some of the most amazing people San Francisco has.
