My husband Sean and I love our house in Donegal and want others to enjoy it as we have done over the years

We had the most wonderful time in Driftwood Cottage. From the pictures we knew it would be beautiful but you really have to see it in the flesh to truely appreciate it's charm.
When we arrived the lights were on and the fires were roaring to give us most warm welcome we could have asked for. We really were not expecting that.
The house is really well equipped so you are never left wanting for anything. Killybegs is a beautiful spot, the people are so friendly and the cliffs nearby are the highest in Europe and will help dust away any cobwebs you might have had from drinks around the fire the night before. Perfect.
Be prepared, there is is no phone or wifi but that is a massive plus and not a negative.
We will definitely be returning at some point in the future because we just feel in love with the place and the peace and quiet of it all and we will recommend it to all of our friends and family (and anyone else who'll listen!)
We were made to feel very welcome right from the off. The house was fantastic, full of character but still with the modern amenities you would expect. The house was very well finished and being a keen cook I was impressed by the selection of pans etc. All in all a great stay and we would definitely make a return visit.
Thank you Andrew .
Absolutely stunning home... beautiful setting... would recommend to all...
Listing was as described. Setting and location exceeded expectations.
House and location suited us perfectly. We were a family who wanted to spend some quality time enjoying the outdoors. Great hikes around the area and beautiful sandy beach 5mins away was perfect for lazy strolls in the evening. The Cottage itself was great and accommodated the 7 of us + dog comfortably. The tasteful decor and the already lit stove made us feel right at home. Overall a very pleasant stay and we look forward to another! We never met our host but both Roseann and Sean were very helpful and pleasant to deal with over the phone.
The listing was described accurately, and the cottage was wonderful, we felt very welcome into a house full of well thought out space, creative renovation, character and homeliness. The fireplace and the wood-burner added to the charm, and we took advantage of cooking and spending the evenings in this fantastic space. One must not forget to mention the irresistible large old fashioned bath to soak in. The overall spaciousness yet cosiness of the cottage was striking. The combination of old and new architecture was skilled very well thought out, and we were very grateful to have the opportunity to enjoy this clearly personal project. The location off the beat and track was very pleasant, and great for children. We would highly recommend this cottage.
Stunning cottage tucked away on a quiet lane but still in short distance of nearby Killybegs and Fintra Bay blue flag beach. Very homely and spacious! The house is very well equipped and suitable for a large family as well. As the weather wasn't ideal we had the opportunity to make use of the fire place in the cosy livingroom!
We didn't meet Roseann while we were there but she provided us with everything we needed to know.
Would definitely recommend this place!
Driftwood Cottage is rustic and quirky and a lovely place to spend some time away from it all. It was really clean and beautifully decorated with lots of driftwood mirrors and lamps. The wood burning fires make the place really cosy. There is no internet or phone signal so it's a real retreat from it all. A wonderful beach is 5 mins walk away. I would highly recommend the cottage. Thanks for having us and for the welcoming bottle of wine!
Driftwood was a lovely place to spend a few days. It is totally out of the way and is a good base from which to explore Donegal. It is outside Killybegs which is a 2 hour drive at least from Belfast.
