I am a shoe designer from Amsterdam looking for arts and craft
It was the second time i stayed at Sanne's Apartment and it was great again, really feels like my Home in Amsterdam. Will stay there again for sure...
Me and my boyfriend stayed at Sanne's apartment when we travelled through Europe - it was fantastic! The apartment itself is beautiful (cannot believe how much cool stuff can fit in one apartment!), lots of room for 2 people and in such a convenient location. The bus direct to the airport is only around the corner and the Jordaan area has amazing cafes and bars - so close to everything!
Sanne was a lovely host - we had to change our travel plans at the last minute and arrived quite late at night, but Sanne didn't mind at all and was waiting for us when we arrived. She had left us food for breakfast and was very welcoming, giving us tips on what to do in Amsterdam. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!
In one word: A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Since its the first time we rent an apartment through airbnb we arrived with some concerns. We found a well designed and decorated apartment which provided us a great experience during the 4 days we stayed there. The apartment is indeed Light and cosy as we hoped. We found the canal view very pleasant. The location is perfect: in a nice and quiet neighborhood, a walking distance from the "nine streets" and the center, very close to a Tram station and to the Bus station of line 197 (To/From Schiphol airport).Sanne was a great host and made sure we have everything we need. Will definitely recommend this apartment.
Superb apartment with beautiful furniture. Perfect location in a very quiet street, the Jordaan area is so great! We had a very good stay there and will come back with a great pleasure. Sanne was a charming host. Thank you so much !
Sanne's house was wonderful! we stayed in late June and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The area is great, close to tram stops to get you into Dam Square area (although it really is only a 20 minute walk away). 5 minutes from the Anne Frank House and a short walk to Leideplein also! Her home is beautifully decorated and lovely and clean and light. The Wifi was super fast and the little breakfast she left us was much appreciated! Unfortunately we didn't get to meet her but her mum was there to greet us which was lovely. Excellent recommendation on Restaurant Red (best steak!) and Winkel Cafe (best apple pie we've ever eaten!). I would definitely recommend her place to anyone wanting to stay in a beautiful house in a very cool neighbourhood. The stairs leading up to the apartment (on the 3rd floor) are quite steep so providing this is not a problem for you, I can't imagine why you wouldn't enjoy your stay :)
Fantastic apartment, beautifully furnished, with great light and in a killer location. Easy to access both the Jordaan and central Amsterdam. Fun (if vertiginous) separate loft bedroom. Sanne was a charming host and made everything easy. Would love to stay there again on our next Amsterdam trip!
Sanne's canal-side apartment is the perfect choice for anyone wanting the full Amsterdam experience. The apartment is in the trendy Jordaan area, repeatedly referred to as "real Amsterdam" by the guide of a bike tour we joined. The neighbourhood is full of trendy shops and restaurants, and is close to all the major attractions of the city.
Sanne is an excellent host, and did her best to address our queries and last-minute requests (e.g. arriving slightly earlier than originally agreed). She provided helpful tips and recommendations, and kept in touch via SMS.
The apartment itself is bright, and very tastefully decorated. It's equipped with all the amenities one could hope for (including a TV projector!). It's on the top (3rd floor) of the building, and the big windows and great views of the canal make up for the very steep staircases (which are typical in Amsterdam). There is also high-speed internet (Wifi) which was very helpful in planning our daily activities.
All in all, we highly recommend Sanne's apartment.
We visited Amsterdam the 24th to 28th of April 2013 and stayed in Sannes apartment in Jordaan. The apartment was situated very well in an old beautiful house by the canal. It is on the topfloor of the house and nicely renovated and decorated. In the area round the apartment you can find a lot of nice restaurants and shops, the city centre is not far away. We rented bikes which is the absolutely most preferable way to see Amsterdam.
Sanne was a very nice and service minded host. We arrived pretty late in the evening so Sanne had even bought us breakfast for the next day and the fresh flowers on the table gave a very nice welcoming impression.
We would definitely recommend Sannes apartment if you are traveling to Amsterdam.
We want to thank Sanne for the right to be in her amazing Designed apartment , you can not ask for more, the apartment is located in a central and on very quiet street , the apartment was equipped with all the good.
We had an amazing weekend.
LOVE YOU :)

Great canal side apartment, very trendy and comfortable, wonderful place to stay and easy to explore everything by foot. Would definitely like to stay there again! Sanne was a fab host, communication was great and she was really quick to respond to questions and accept our request. We were given some great recommendations of places close by to eat and drink. Great boutiques, cafes and restaurants close by and a really pretty area to stay.
Sanne was a delightful, friendly guest who left the apartment in perfect condition. Her communication about arrival and departure times was excellent. We hope she'll come back again, and also look forward to perhaps renting her apartment one day in Amsterdam!
