In 9 years as a vacation rental owner I have never had 1 person leave me negative feedback nor have I left negative feedback for anyone. Although Angela seemed kind and devoted to her children and even had our granddaughter over for birthday cake, I have never had anyone disrespect my vacation home the way Angela's family did. It started with the removal of the hide a bed mattress which was put on the floor in the master bedroom to accommodate a sick child. In order to get it in the bedroom the bedroom end tables and lamps were moved to other rooms. The queen bed was moved against the wall. The dresser was moved into the closet. The living room coffee table was moved into the master bedroom. The television stand was even moved. When asked not to sit on the hide-a-bed without a mattress in it because it will ruin the springs, we were told that they took all our decorative pillows and shoved them in the couch. At one point the children were seen jumping on the couch without the mattress in it using it as a trampoline. When asked if the children could not jump on the couch because it would damage the springs and mechanism, Angela replied "i'm just trying to make due". The bar on the metal frame was bent from the jumping and had to be tweaked back in place to get the cushions to lay flat. The screen door was left open most of the week, so a mouse was in the house when they departed. To add insult to injury someone spray painted something on the deck and the overspray got on the rug and also on the green deck. You can see 3 perfect little shoe outlines where the paint overspray stained the deck.
On a positive note, they did leave us $10 for the soap dish that their children broke.
