My name is Chris and I'm a surgery resident at the University of Massachusetts. Recent transplant to Los Angeles for my pediatric surgery research fellowship at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Graduated from Duke NUS graduate medical school of Singapore; spent several years traveling throughout Asia!
A bit more background on myself. I initially moved out to San Francisco after graduating from the University of Wisconsin for work reasons, but fell in love with the city and had a great group of friends while I lived there. Before enrolling in the medical program at Duke NUS in 2009, I was the lab manager of the stem cell facility at the J. David Gladstone Institutes in Mission Bay (UCSF). I also did part-time rehab therapy work with a brain injury patient, as I have my degree in neuroscience. My interests are numerous, but I typically enjoy outdoor sports (cycling, swimming, climbing, hiking, scuba diving, etc), cooking, traveling, concerts (symphony), theatre, and the list goes on. Free time is spent usually out of the house at parks, cafes, or other venues.
My love of traveling has taken me all over the world and staying in homes throughout the world has given me a true cultural perspective that no other stay could provide.
