Thank you Kiki and Salim.
You're home was filled with warmth and love.
We found it incredibly easy to get around and if we ever had any questions you were always more then happy to help us.
Highly recommend using you guys and if we are ever in LA again we will definitely be staying with you again.
Thank you for all your assistance
Property was exactly as advertised, in a lovely part of Santa Monica. We really enjoyed walking around the local area, plus parking for the car was easy. Loved the provision of beach towels in addition to regular ones! The main bed is very comfy and the hardwood floors in bedroom and lounge are great. There's no air - conditioning in the property, but there's a powerful fan in the bedroom and so once we got that up and running (and a window open) it quickly cooled down. Kiki was quick to answer any queries that we had. We had a great 3 days in Santa Monica, thank you!
Very well maintained, bright and breezy bungalow in a quiet well to do area. Easy parking, communicative hosts. Slept great on the comfy bed. Kitchen has all the basics you'd expect in a high end timeshare.
Kiki and Salim's trailer is wonderfully refurbished and very comfortable. I loved every second of our stay. The outdoor shower is amazing, too. Nothing compares to taking a shower in the sunshine. Apart from that the two are great hosts who were super nice to chat with and had great tipps for the surrounding. Highly recommended!
This is a clean, comfortable, convenient and charming little bungalow in a wonderful part of Santa Monica. It was easy to park our car either right in front of the apartment, across the street or around the corner.
We loved being able to step out the door and walk along the beautiful residential streets and/or to the grocery stores and other shops that were within several blocks of the bungalow.
Kiki was very welcoming and kind -- always responsive to our questions. This was an excellent home base for us, an ideal launch pad for visits to Los Angeles, Orange County, Santa Barbara, and of course the Santa Monica Bay Area. We had a super time.
A perfect place to stay in Santa Monica. The unit is very clean, bright and extremely comfortable, not to mention quiet and peaceful at night. I had an excellent stay. Kiki was easy to communicate with and available when I had any questions. I liked the little details, such as having some basic food stuff in the kitchen too, such as coffee. I would highly recommend this place and hope I can stay there again on future trips to the area!
We had a delightful experience at Kiki's & Salim's.
The airstream is very comfortable (especially the bed), clean and very well organised (with storage etc). Outside, a small table with a bench and a great smell of jasmine and a vue on the bougainvillea! We felt on vacation the minute we got there. Kiki and Salim were very friendly and very easy to communicate with. It was great to start our trip there! Highly recommended!
Firs, Kiki was very helpful with all of our questions. This was very important to us.
The place was in great shape and very comfortable. We used the Full Size Fridge to keep our food until the next stop.
The property had plenty of on street parking and always close to the bungalow.
The property was in a great neighborhood and close to everything.
Thanks for everything Kiki! Keep up the good work.
The place was amazing. It was clean and convenient to the beach. Kiki and Salim left perfect instructions and were excellent hosts. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Great stay on a nice quiet street walking distance from some of the best dining in LA!
The vintage fully restored Airstream trailer that Kiki and Salim have to offer is an ultra cool unique refuge in a setting that is both urban and homely. 'Le trailer', as I like to call it, is my home away from home and each occasion I am granted the great favor to stay here I leave knowing I am truly lucky to know such great people and to have access to what is the most bitching lodging out there.
Le trailer's groovy custom interior was truly a labor of love that reflects concentratedly their functional, clever and utterly cool approach to design. Le trailer itself is perfectly situated amidst fence like bamboo and omnipresent bougainvillea evocative of an enchanted eastern courtyard within a regal Riad of the Maghreb but actually is minutes from Los Angeles International Airport, major freeways, Venice beach and an endless variety of restaurants.
'Le trailer' for me is the ideal situation; cozy quarters outfitted with all the mod cons (and a bed that will make you weep when you awake and realize you must leave it) surrounded by dream like greenery in a totally central bit of Los Angeles. Yet, now that I really think of it, what really makes each stay truly special is the warmth and love that is always, unfailingly extended to me by LA's coolest and most gracious host's Kiki and Salim.
Side note: Their saintly dog Tiger is an experience unto himself. :)
Enjoy your stay.
I've been friends w/ Kiki for years and she is one of my favorite people! She has incredible style and taste, and i love spending time @ her beautiful, zen, home.I've spent the night a few times and it was sooo comfy! My favorite thing to do when I'm visiting her is either sitting outside in her lovely backyard,or taking a steam in her fab shower/steam room!
