I m french, working as a drawer / painter for cinema and TV
Diane's apartment was so cozy and beautiful - full of art and tiny details! Felt like home there. Diane was the best, so helpful and gave us plenty of advises for what to do in Paris and how to get there, just made us feel very welcome. Even the seventh floor without a lift didn't matter because of the great view from the apartment. The apartment is also in a good place, near metro where you can get easily everywhere, if you don't want to walk.
My boyfriend and I had perfect stay in Diane's apartment. It was so beautifully Parisian we couldn't have wished for anything better. Diane was helpful and responded quickly to all our emails and queries. She also left us lots of information (maps etc) and clear explanations of everything we needed to know about the apartment.
The apartment it self was cosy and clean and had everything we needed. The sofa bed was very comfortable (unlike most sofa beds!!). The location was great, a short walk from Sacre Coeur and the Moulin Rouge as well as the beautiful streets, restaurants and cafes of Montmatre. It's very near the Gard du Nord (about a 5 min walk) and Metro stations, travelling was really easy and we had no problems.
We thoroughly recommend staying here and thank you again to Diane.
I have absolutely no reservations in recommending Diane's beautiful apartment. Filled with books and art, with views over the city, it's a second's walk to the metro, and a very short stroll to Gare du Nord, Pigalle or Montmartre. Diane herself is incredibly lovely...what else is there to say? This place is perfect.
My boyfriend and I felt very lucky to have stayed here.
Thank you Diane!
Diane was really helpful and her apartment is great. Located in a great place if you wanna walk around Paris, very close to Metro. I would recommend it to anyone!
We were very comfortable in this top floor, sunny , with views over Paris, charming artists home. We loved the fact that it was less than 10 mins walk from Gare du Nord and there were foody shops in close by (15 mins walk). Being up seven floors is only a problem if you are not into fitness but it does give you good sky views. The sofa bed was really comfortable and easy to use. Only downside is the pillows could have been better and you have to be careful about the very hot water. Diane was generous and left breakfast for us which we enjoyed. Thanks.
Très bon séjour chez Diane,
l'appartement est confortable et jolie
Diane laisse en plus guide et diverses informations.
Merci pour tout
It was my first time in Paris and so for me a very good place to enter in the french culture. Very french the appartment, it gave the right feeling for the city. Very closed to the metro, but very quiet! Because its the third Block behind the street , and the doublebed is very comfortable. And from the balcony and Kitchenwindos you overlook the roofs of paris. Close to Montmartre - you can walk. And Diane and her friend take a lot time to explain and showing nice places in Paris and information about it.
All in one: a french easy small nice appartment with a great host.
I spent a lovely 4 weeks in this apartment in May 2012! The apartment is in the 9th arrondissement, just 5-10 mins walk from the Sacre-Coeur (which you can see from the balcony!) and the Montmartre area which is full of great restaurants/cafes/shops.
Good things: The apartment itself is small but gorgeous and full of parisienne character! I loved it! The apartment is very bright and gets lots of sunshine. It is away from the street and so very quiet at night. The sofa bed was very easy and quick to pull out every night and very comfortable. The apartment was very clean and everything worked well ( apart from the washing machine which I had a few issues with but which was not the fault of the owner) The owner, Diane met me the first night and was very friendly and gave me lots for advice about the area. She was also very quick to respond anytime I contacted her although she was not in the country.
Bad things: It is on the 7th floor with no lift but I did get very used to climbing the stairs and it kept me fit! Also the metro station beside the apartment is a little rough.....lots of guys hanging around there but they are more annoying than aggressive. I didnt feel unsafe exactly but it wasnt the nicest metro stop.
Overall I had a great time in this apartment and would recommend it!
Very nice and cozy apartment in the centre of Paris. It`s a 20/30 minute walk to the Louvre and you have everything you need just around the corner. The apartment was clean and offered anything you need for a comfortable stay! Thank you very much again!
The host canceled my reservation 36 days before arrival.
Merci !
Diane and Vincent stayed for one week and were charming, considerate and friendly guests. We very much enjoyed their company, they are very relaxed, interesting to talk to and undemanding as guests. It was lovely to meet them and have them to stay - a most enjoyable experience!
With Diane and her friend Vincent was everything alright. She was a little bit too french, but hey i´m german ;-)
Diane was a beautiful guest, always happy and kind. The house was perfect when she and her sister left it: very clean and tidy. We have had also chance to meet a couple of times and I've appreciated to talk with her.
I recommed her highly!
