1) Katie arrive with about 10/12 hours late, by 05 am, postponing her arrival every 2 or 3 hours for 2 or 3 hours more from 7 pm the day before and finally telling me by sms that I can go to bed by 2 am as she not expect to arrive before early morning. So we waited her almost the whole evening and half of the night and finally after sleeping only 3 hours she show up.
2) the upgrade was not last second but much earlier and Katie agreed online about it even saying "It sound lovely".
3) it was coffee and tea in the kitchen and iron and iron board and swimming Pool towel in the laundry but sorry to haven't give you the proper "welcome house tour" by 05 am after waiting you 12 hours and sleeping only 3 hours. We are not Holiday Inn with 24/24 staff. Also during her 3 days stay Katie messaged me several time asking tourist advice and on our side trying to meet her for share a lunch and meet. During all that exchanges she never asked about the tea coffee towel and iron... And declined all our meeting.
4) On her arrival I gave to Katie the Master key explaining she have access to both apartment, her place and our place and she can visit at any time to socialize and share meal and sunset on balcony blah blah, in 3 days she came only once but we was out. Each time I message her to try to meet she turn out the invitation saying she enjoy the beach or other activities and will contact later and to don't be worried as everything is fine. But I was the only one to initiate contact.
So in resume all the negative aspects of this very first bad review I got in 5 years is just because Katie late arrival and her lack of communication. We don't isolate her and don't hide from her, we are totally dedicated to our guests...
