My mission is to inspire creative transformation in everyone I meet, and I run the Live Like A Happy Artist project.
My arthouse is a container for my multifarious creative and cultural activities, and has a strong spiritual ethos :-)
The Arthouse has been at the core of the renaissance movement in Guardia Sanframondi - I am the very protagonist which started the movement, and who regularly fans the flames of our vibrant intercultural evolution: it's no accident that I'm the sole holder of the Keys To The City!
My artwork involves painting, writing, sewing, making things, gardening, and teaching/ running workshops and events- and inspiring people to live their dreams!
I come from a small island on the west coast of Scotland, and work both there and in Italy. I love the lifestyle in this part of rural Italy: the pace of life, the people, the quality of light, the wild landscapes.
I wrote a Foreigners' Guide To Guardia, which gives a unique insight into life in the town as a straniera.
Among many other things I love, are: meeting new people, long interesting conversations, authentic art, books I can lose myself in, 'spiritual DIY', transforming health and consciousness, making beautiful food to share, making Scotland a better place, gardening like the earth is sacred, singing in Italian, walking in the mountains and woods, swimming in the river, harvesting wild plants, restructuring clothing, fixing things, and learning new skills by doing stuff.
One of my favourite quotes is 'there is no way to happiness, happiness is the way'.
