Last year we refurbished a cottage in Derbyshire as a holiday home. We're never short of something to do when we're there.

A lovely cottage, warm, clean and plenty of room. Linda respond quickly to all our questions and was very helpful.
Loads to do in the local area, perfect for exploring the Peaks - we had a great stay!
The kitchen is small but very functional and clean. Other reviews have talked about the 'sensitive' fire alarm I would echo this, it was very loud and set off very easily!
We would definitely go back for another stay!
The cottage was just as described, very comfortable, and in a perfect location. We were walking distance to the town center and pub. The rooms were nice and we enjoyed our stay.
Beautiful cottage, perfect location, lovely village, especially the vegan/vegi cafe above the book store and the chocolate shop! Host was helpful, only thing I would say is the fire alarm is very sensitive! Laura
We stayed in this cottage for my Dad's 70th birthday for 3 nights and it was lovely. Very cosy and warm, which was good because it snowed while we were there which was delightful!
The living area is lovely and we enjoyed a couple of the movies which are available to watch. There are also a few games which is great to know are there so you don't have to bring any with you.
The kitchen is teeny tiny but with everything we needed including a cafetiere for my Dad's proper coffee he likes.
The bedrooms were really cosy and warm and the beds are very comfy.
Cromford is gorgeous. I'd highly recommend Huntley Green for food and a good coffee. The Boat Inn for some good pub grub. And Scarthins book shop cafe for yummy cakes. All the are superb for vegetarians.
All in all we had a really lovely stay at this cottage. Thank you
Thanks for your comments. I don't normally expect guests to do anything with bedding and towels!
Really nice cottage in a great area. Enjoyed our stay.
The cottage was just as described: cosy and equipped with everything we needed for our short break. We loved the log burning stove and especially the good board game collection! It was in a great location near a fantastic bookshop and within walking distance of a couple of nice pubs. It was also well placed for lots of nice walks in the surrounding area. Linda was very helpful and responded really quickly and comprehensively to all our queries.
Great area to explore and clear information re parking and map directions from host was accurate and really helpful.
Comfortable and cosy cottage with amazing history all around to be discovered.....a stimulating as well as restful experience!
A lovely cosy cottage ideally situated for walks, without the need to drive to a location. The cottage is right next door to a nice little pub (The Boat Inn) which offers a lot of choice and activities (pub quizz on Thursday night!). Huntley Green coffee shop/deli at the bottom of the street is perfect for a large cooked breakfast! Two bits of advice: the cottage kitchen is very small and the fire alarms very sensitive! So do not attempt to cook fry-ups yourself, or try to cook in pairs! And if you like making fires in the wood burning stove, bring with you or buy locally more wood.
We loved this cottage in the lovely village of Cromford. Full of character and really cosy, but with plenty of room for 5. The beds were really comfortable and the cottage well heated. Linda provided everything we needed in the run up to our visit. Cromford is an ideal base for seeing the area - I'm sure we'll be back!
Linda responded very quickly to all of my questions.
The cottage was lovely and very nicely decorated.
We really enjoyed our stay and thought Cromford was a great base for exploring the Peak District.
