We stayed in the restored farmhouse and it was an absolute delight. Iseult has decored the accommodation to such a superb standard and was so welcoming upon our arrival. We made dinner in the house beside the fire and then took a 2min stroll to The local pub The pipers inn which was a total gem. Would 100% come back and would highly recommend anyone looking for accomodation in Killaloe.
What a beautiful, charming space! Iseult was kind enough to receive us fairly late in the evening, and even made us a fire and opened up her art gallery so we could see! We truly wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be booking again in a future trip.
We stayed too short! Lovely, newly renovated farmhouse in an amazing surrounding! Great and caring host. Felt very welcome! Will stay couple days next time!
Thank you so much Dorothee for your lovely review.
Iseult was a fantastic host and the house was perfect. It was newly refurbished and very tastefully done. Iseult was really friendly and kind towards my dad, who has significant mobility problems. I would highly recommend staying here.
The house of Iseult is amazing, renovated with a lot of taste and great spirit it is a piece of paradise
This was my second stay at the farmhouse and it turned out to be as good as my first. The same attention to detail by the host Iseult that makes this quiet and cosy cottage a pleasure to stay in. It has everything you could need for self catering, it's clean and tastefully decorated with the emphasis on a quiet place to relax within easy striking distance of Killaloe, Ballina and Lough Derg. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to explore the surrounding area.
Charming cottage in a beautiful quiet setting and a great host. I spent 4 weeks here in 2014 and will definitely return. The cottage is traditional, recently restored and has all mod cons. There is a wood and turf burning stove that makes the place super cosy and warm. Iseult, the host is fantastic, making me feel very welcome from start to finish with loads of fresh linen, towels and wood for the stove!! She has loads of local knowledge and was always around to answer any questions I had. At night with the window slightly ajar you can sleep to the sound of the river which is amazing!! There are 2 bedrooms, a wet room with shower and a separate smaller bathroom all upstairs. The kitchen has all you need to do proper self catering. Would highly recommend this 2 bedroom cottage to anyone looking to stay in and around Killaloe.
