Clementina, you are clearly upset that I called your apartment 'a bit shabby', but compared to other airBnB places we have stayed in that was true. I remind you that my overall review was positive and I recommended your property to other travellers. If a wet towel slipped to the floor I apologise, it was unintentional (though it is often the practice for travellers to leave used towels on the floor and clean ones hanging so hosts don't have to rewash everything unnecessarily). The stove was used only to poach eggs on our second morning and my husband washed up and wiped down the benches afterwards. When we were checking out we had our garbage bag with us and we asked you where we should dispose of it, but you told us that you would throw it away when you took your other garbage bags downstairs - It did contain sardines that would have become smelly, but as you said we couldn't check out later than 10am because you had to clean the apartment straight away we were not expecting it to be left for long enough to cause a problem. If your complaints were genuine I'm sure you would have raised them with us when we returned for our luggage, instead of being friendly and offering to call us a taxi. We collected our bags shortly after lunch because we were booked on a 2.30pm train from Florence to Venice. We met our next airBnB host there just before 5.30pm, so your claim that you kept our luggage until 9pm is also unfair. It's disappointing that you have found the need to make false accusations in revenge for my honest review of the accommodation. Also, for the record, your listing advertises the check-in time as 3pm and check-out as 12 midday, but it was not until the booking was confirmed and our money was committed that Nicolo told us we had to arrive after 4pm and leave by 10am.
