I love travel and used to live for some time abroad (US, Italy), moved to Katowice and run my businesses here since 2007 and enjoy the changes ongoing in the city.

The layout, decor, and location of Błazej's apartment are all amazing. The apartment is located within a 10-minute walk to Galeria Katowicka (a nice mall with numerous shops and a grocery store), which includes the main train station. Also nearby is beautiful Kościuszko Park, where you can walk or run. I got confused when using the washing machine, but Błazej was quick to explain how to use it properly. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Katowice.
Blazej is a very friendly host. He was here late to welcome me and helped me for my transportations (taxi, bus...).
The flat is pretty nice, clean, and functional.
There are small shops around and it takes 10-12 mn on foot to be in the town center. There are also some restaurants just around.
So it was a very nice place for me !
Blazej was very kind in letting us into the flat very early in the morning, due to the early arrival of our bus into town! The house was even too big for a single night stay and very bright and clean.
Discussions with owner by mail were easy and no kind of problems appeared. Everything was like the owner has promised. House was quiet like the neighbourhood itself. There was not any kind of problems with anything. Couple of times streetlights were out of use so it was quite dark to walk to the apartment at evening/night time. But, that was of course nothing to do with the apartment or its owner.
The flat was very nice and comfortable! Had a bit of trouble getting through the door and the locks but with a bit of finagling we were able to get it open. We enjoyed a great dinner at a restaurant called 'Patio Restaurant' about 15 minutes walk from the flat. We met a very friendly woman at the little store across the street. No issues with parking our rental car, we felt safe and secure leaving on the street under the window.
thanks, will look into the key-situation, to make it easier!
I didn't meet Blazej or his friend but the cleaner let us in and showed us around. The apartment is light, bright, spacious and clean. I loved the Art Deco touches. I didn't spend much time there to assess the neighbourhood but we went to a really nice restaurant called Winiarnia, a couple of blocks away. Nice food and friendly staff. The bed was a little too hard for my liking but otherwise a lovely apartment.
Blazej went above and beyond as a host. The apartment was great in itself, but he did numerous extremely helpful things to make sure my arrival, stay, and departure went smoothly. And with my luggage arriving a day later than I did, his efforts fended off a potentially huge logistical headache for me.
I liked the neighborhood - convenient to shops and restaurants, but also enough out of the way from the hustle and bustle of the city center.
I found the bed way too firm to be comfortable, but was happy with the couch that unfolded into a rather comfy bed. That's the only thing short of praise I have for my experience!
The flat is totally reformed, everything is new and clean. It´s a ver comfortable and nice place when you can feel immediately at home. It has everything you can need and even more. The situation is also very good, 10 minutes from everything. Blazej is very helpful and comprehensive person.
Our caretaker, Anela took care of Blazej and his family. She said they were perfect guests- kind, happy and very gracious. They took care of the house great during their stay and everything was in perfect order when they left. We welcome them back anytime!
Anela is a great asset! we usually do not return to the same place but could consider your house for another holidays. brgds, Blazej
