I'm an educated, easy going, congenial, extensively travelled, professional, 42-year old male living in New York City. Born and raised in Seattle, WA, I spent a couple of years overseas traveling, studying, and doing internships in Paris, Mougin and Chaumont, France, as well as Tokyo and Kobe, Japan. Next stop San Francisco to search for the illusive Barbary Lane, perfect my consummate host tendencies in the restaurant and hotel biz, and drink (website hidden) koolade before moving to New York in 2005.
I'm the business development director for a world-renowned British architecture practice that has me on the road frequently, and have previously worked for an internationally acclaimed Dutch landscape architecture and urban design practice, the world’s largest woman-owned design firm. I've also freelanced over the years to design firms looking to expand to or increase their profile and market share in New York. I recently took the leap into development and am working on two boutique hospitality projects in Brazil, so I tend to travel often for both business and pleasure.
Family, friends and "framily" are a cornerstone of my life, and entertaining is my favorite chemistry experiment. My Hells Kitchen summer barbecues are legendary.
Je parle Français, eu estou aprendendo Portuguese.
