I work in mta industry love football and mexican food! Every year i travel in different countries, have a lot of friend!
Paul has a nice place in the heart of city. I was there on July 4 weekend and his apartment is very close to Macy's fireworks location, a mile from empire state and time square. It can easily accommodate 4 people and the kitchen has full range of utensils. There is a store right downstairs for for basic necessities. Paul was quick in replying.
Bathroom did not have body wash, shampoo, lotion but could be bought from store downstairs.
Overall good place and had great time.
The location is fabulous, but a couple flights of stairs make things awkward if you have heavy luggage. Apartment had some plumbing problems but was comfortable enough. "Kitchen" is very New York and you need to climb on a chair to get to plates & saucepans. WiFi was good but no TV at all.
Main bed is huge, so sheets don't fit and slide all around the bare mattress.
The apartment was very clean when we entered, beds made. The maid gave us the keys since Paul was not there. Keep in mind the apartment is on the second floor and there is no elevator. I liked the exercise of climbing the stairs but if you are with someone who has a disability this is something to keep in mind, especially if you are bringing a lot of luggage.
Although Paul was on vacation, he was very responsive in answering my questions about the place (even though some of them might have been dumb) and making sure we settled in well. Overall, would recommend!
The apartment was very clean and tidy and as described. The only issue we had was the process of obtaining the key could be more streamlined. The person with the key was difficult to understand and did not know if the key she gave us was the right one. There was extra anxiety with this process as we had to be at an event on time and this caused us to be late as we had to locate the apartment. We called the host to help with finding the apartment and also did not know where to leave the key after we left as there was no info about this. I do not plan on using Airbnb again as it would be easier and less time consuming to just book a hotel next time.
Location was perfect and accessible. Room was adequate for 4 people. Best of all, our host was accommodating with our requests and made our stay convenient and manageable. Thank you Paul.
The place is fantastic! very well located, superb, very comfortable, clean, exactly like it is on the pictures. Paul is wonderful, he was waiting for us to give us the keys and everything happened exactly as we wished. I have no critics at all: we were even not bothered at all by the traffic on the 2nd Avenue as all the other comments say. This is definitely a place to go to in NY! and I loved all these joyful colors in the apartment!
A perfect location to explore NYC , apartment just like the photos and close to subway.i would definitely recommend
The initial booking was smooth. Communication was through email. I received the keys in ample time, Paul was not going to be there when we arrived. Place was clean and exactly as the listing shown. Great location. Nice to have a Starbucks across the street! Shops and restaurants are within walking distance of location. We enjoyed are stay at Paul's apartment.
The room was exactly how pictured. The traffic from 2nd ave was not bad at all. Great location and the beds were super comfy. There is a little store below that had everything we needed for our stay and the kitchen was a great little addition to make a quick breakfast
We had a great time in Paul's apartment. We stayed here with a family of 4 and had more than enough space. The apartment is just like the pictures show, and it was very clean. Great location if you want to see the highlights of New York.
