We booked the whole Riad (en exclusivité) for a week to spend a holiday with the family. The experience was outstanding, and while it's not the most luxurious Riad, it is very authentic and great value for the price. Hafida, her brother and the lady who does the cleaning and cooking are great hosts, very attentive and flexible and with such a friendliness and warmth. Hafida also organised tours for us and was there to pick up some of us who got lost in the neighborhood or to quickly cook a pasta for a hungry toddler (without charging extra).
The Riad was exactly as described in the post, the whole property is very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was always freshly prepared and definitely above the average for this price range. The Riad is actually great for families with small kids (we were there with three toddlers between 4 months and 2 years), just have an eye on the staircases between the three floors.
We can all highly recommend this place and hope that we will have a chance to come back to spend some more time in this lovely setting!
Hafida, her husband and her sister were really friendly and helpful. They really worked hard to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast was great... we got for example a homemade cake the first and last morning.
The riad is not a luxury one, but clean and quiet with good atmosphere. We hope to come there again. Many thanks from Carina and Sven!
Hafida and family are friendly and helpful, nice breakfast and delicious tajine. The Riad is clean enough and medina center is close.
Our stay at the Riad Alamir was amazing, from start to finish!
Hafida was wonderfully prompt in replying to all my queries prior to our stay, even booking a tour for us and a taxi to collect us from the airport (both at a charge, but at great value).
On arrival, Rachid made us feel so welcome, making us tea and food. He was the host we communicated with most throughout the stay and he was so kind, always happy to answer questions, give directions, and even book a table for us at a nearby riad with a great view.
We saw Hafida and Said briefly, and both were very friendly and welcoming too.
The riad itself is a marvel. Our room was beautifully decorated, and the pool in the middle surrounded by candles looks stunning (but is very cold, if you fancy a brave dip)! You can sunbathe on the terrace or read in a shady corner, then enjoy the view of the Koutoubia mosque from the very top terrace. Just astonishing and brilliant value.
The riad was an oasis of calm in a very hectic part of the city - so close to the main square and souks, but so relaxing too.
Cannot recommend it enough! Thank you Rachid, Hafida and Said!
At first: We had a great stay in Marrakech at Hafida´s Riad!
It was the best choice to book twin room 5 in this gorgeous and calm riad. Hafida, Said and Aisha were always helpful, blithful, compassionate and warm-hearted. They had always a smile for us. We cooked a delicious tajine with Hafida and Aisha, danced with Hafida, every morning was served a nice breakfast with cake, fresh orange juice, tea and coffee- everything was very comfortable and relaxing. If we had questions Hafida helped us. Our room and the bathroom were very clean and large. The nice roof- terrace is a specially place to enjoy the sundowner, the stars or the sunbeam about noon. Hafida arranged the taxi transfers from and to the airport for us. The neighborhood is safe. We highly recommend this property. Thank you, Hafida, for this wonderful vacation:-) We give you 5 stars.
The riad is really nice and in a good neighbourhood. The room was clean and the beds are very comfy. Hafida and her family are so friendly and helpful persons. I absolutely recommend this riad.
I was a bit nervous about taking my teenage children to Morocco since I have never been so far from home and I wanted to totally sure that my children would be safe.
From my first enquiry Hafida was incredibly helpful and accomodating. She arranged for a taxi to collect us from the airport, solving my first worry, then helped me to choose and booked a 3 day desert trip to Merzouga before we arrived.
When we arrived in Marrakech Airport, the taxi was waiting for us as promised. Hafida and the other staff were waiting for us with a tray of mint tea, which was just what we needed for refreshment. We arrived late at night yet we didn't feel we were inconveniencing them.
The Riad is very beautifully decorated, built around a pool with plants everywhere and with easy access to a very pretty terrace. The room clean, nicely decorated and was a good size for us all with en-suite bathroom as promised, all for a very reasonable price.
The Riad is very quiet. I think that Hafida chooses families and discourages groups of single men to keep it safe and quiet.
Breakfasts were delicious with freshly squeezed orange juice, a large thermos of coffe and hot milk, mint tea, Moroccan pancakes, bread, fresh fruit, cheese and jam. A perfect start for a long day of exploring Marakech!
At all times Hafida and the other staff were very helpful with directions, answering questions and trying to be helpful.
When my son had an upset tummy they offered and cooked plain rice for him which was very thoughtful. They didn't mind me taking his breakfast up to his room when he was ill.
After the 3 day desert trip which I would heatily recommend, Hafida offered to give us a meal. It was one of the best meals we had in Marrakech, perfectly designed to refresh hungry thirsty travellers... with slices of orange, tomotoes sculpted into roses, melon and cumcumber salad, followed by an enormous bowl of couscous and steamed vegetables, followed by Moroccan pastries. we felt very well treated! The cost of the meal was very reasonable too.
when we came back from the desert it felt like coming home, because Hafida and the staff had made us fel so welcome.
If you want a quiet and safe place to stay in Marrakech i would recommend the Riad Aderbaz.
The location is away from the main square down a quiet alley and quite quiet, but only 5 minutes away from the centre of town so it is very well situated. After a day we had learned the way back, and once you know where it is it is easy to find.
I really can't recommend this hotel enough, it really made our holiday enjoyable.
Beautiful place. Helpful staff. Tasty breakfast. Perfectly clean.
Lovely simple riat within 5 minutes of the central square. Very very friendly service including help with booking trips, good advice on local places to go and even looking after me when I got a stomach bug.
