A recent empty nester, I am a native Texan. I have a degree in history and another in Humanities. Hosting is fun and I strive to have everyone enter my home as a guest and leave as a friend. I have traveled extensively in the states and traveled to Europe a few times. I enjoy working in the yard, gathering with friends, and watching movies. I love Italian and Mexican food.
As a host, I will try to be at home to welcome you and show you around. I have great relationships with my guests. My philosophy is to feel as if you are staying with family you just haven't met yet. If I have cooked dinner, you would be invited to join. Over dinner and wine/beer, there is always lively conversations. If you prefer to be out and about... that's fine too and you will have your own key through the duration of your stay. Once you leave the common areas of the home... I give you privacy. If you so desire. We have darts, a ping pong table, and multiple games for entertainment. There is also an extensive DVD collection. And you are free to look through them and watch (website hidden) your leisure. In the morning, I make breakfast which I will attempt to align with your schedule. If that's not possible, there is always cereal and fresh fruit as well has coffee and tea. You are welcome to help yourself in the kitchen. Mi casa su casa.
