The cottage was in very clean conditions when we got there. Guy, Kaya's dad was very nice and attentive when we got there and during our stay.
This was a charming cottage surrounded by lovely trees and a beautiful garden. A comfy chair on the porch was perfect for stargazing at night. I really appreciated Kaya's flexibility with my arrival/departure time. There was a bit of a problem with the stove but it was fixed as soon as I reported it. I mostly dealt with Guy during my stay who was so kind. He even mailed me a shirt that I left behind. Wow. Awesome people and an awesome place. I would stay again.
We had the most amazing stay. It was such a quaint and charming place nestled in the woods - it really felt like a home away from home. I loved that it felt far enough away from the city life, yet close enough to fun activities on the Russian River and in town. Kaya was also so attentive to anything we needed (like a hair dryer, giving great tips for places to go and things to do). We'd definitely love to come stay again!
I had such a wonderful experience at Kaya's sweet cottage. It's such a quiet, peaceful area with tons of plants, flowers, and trees. The cottage was clean and well maintained with beautiful personal touches and everything you'd need in the full kitchen. Kaya was great about responding quickly to any questions I had and gave me tips to help me navigate my stay. She also left helpful information on local shopping, restaurants, and farmer's markets. Checking in and out was simple and Kaya was kind enough to be flexible with timing. Overall it was a lovely stay.
Great to meet Kaya's parents visiting from Germany -- enjoying the mountains, lakes and nature of Lake Tahoe. Lovely, quiet, and welcome back at anytime.
