My family has lived in the north end for about 100 years. Yep. Lots of memories and love with this part of Boise. I hope to take that knowledge and history and help anyone who visits so they can have the best time possible!
Everyone and future guests - this is the only bad review I've gotten. The door I came out of is the main door I use - I wasn't "pouncing." These two were throwing legal threats at me saying I was being discriminatory towards their child when I have 2 other listings that WELCOME families. The room they were in is definitely not to have kids mainly because it's a grown up room (Romance Room) and because a big hot tub is within 10 feet of door. They were relentless in their yelling right in front of my neighbors, saying I hated children! Worst experience I've ever had hosting for Air BnB. And if there were clothes under bed - ha! Very sorry! Do you know how many clothes people leave behind? I never thought to look under bed. I'm not the best maid, I'll admit, but I will do so from now on. As far as yard, I'm in the process of making it the most lovely small-scale Victorian garden you've ever enjoyed : ) Finally - I knew they'd be caustic in their review because they were combative the moment I asked them about the kid. They knew they were sneaking him in, then slammed me with legal threats and yelling at me in front of neighbors. Horrible horrible experience and - these are the types of people i PRAY aren't coming to Boise! I worry because I'm seeing an influx of highly litigious people and that's not wheat Boise is. "Just tell me the truth about having a kid last minute and I can put you up in another listing that allows kids - period." They don't fit the relaxed, happy, honest mold of all of the other guests that I've enjoyed hosting at my home. Please read all other reviews : )
