Loved this lofted apartment in a quite convenient area of town. The beds were comfortable-- even the sofa bed! The US needs to step up their sofa bed game, I've learned. I was in town for the marathon and the full kitchen was great to be able to prepare my own breakfast race morning. We were lucky to have almost perfect weather and it was great to have big windows to allow the breeze in. The building, though in a popular area and on a main street, is wonderfully quiet.
Kylliki was super friendly, attentive to questions and quick to provide insights about how to get around and, especially, tips to handle rush hour on the trains.
Kylliki was really quick at responding to all my messages. She gave me really clear directions to the apartment and instructions for how to get in.
The apartment itself was just as advertised. The location was really great, and there was no noise at night. It was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfy. Good value for money- I would definitely stay here again!
Kylliki was absolutely amazing. She was prompt in responding to my initial email, and all of the subsequent ones. She made getting to the apartment very easy, and all the information we needed she left for us in a great little booklet. The apartment was spotless, and both beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious which was great since I was traveling with 3 other women. Our favorite feature were the small balconies which were perfect for taking pictures, and getting fresh air in the morning.
The neighborhood could not have been better. Shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, ATMs were all near by. The subway was a 10 min walk up the block.
I will definitely be staying in this apartment again, if it is available when I make it back to Paris!
We really loved this apartment! It was just as described--in great condition, clean, and really comfortable. The loft was bigger than we even expected--I'm over 6"6, and it felt very spacious, with no danger of hitting my head.
Kylliki was very responsive to communications both before and during our trip, and even though we arrived early on Xmas morning it was no problem. Her guide to Paris in general, and the neighborhood specifically, was very helpful, and we made use of it throughout our stay.
Would not hesitate to recommend this space to others.
Kyliki is a great host! We had the pleasure of staying in 2 of her properties and each had its own unique charm. Would definitely recommend this property for location - it somehow manages to be in the centre of everything with minimal noise.
It is also very cosy, I'd say the petiteness is probably useful for keeping winter chills out.
This was a lovely apartment in the Latin Quarter area, walking distance to Notre Dame as well as many other destinations. It is on 2 major bus lines as well as a close walk to the Metro. There were good places to eat right outside the door, and all of the places we stopped in at were very friendly to us as non-french speakers.
The listing and pictures are very accurate. The space itself was adorable, well decorated and clean. Being on the 6th floor cut down on street noise, and having the elevator to the 5th floor was a major bonus, especially after dragging our bags all over Europe. Wifi was good, although the signal was weak in the mezzanine. We found no need for the fans that were provided, and the autumn air wasn't cool enough to make use of the heaters. The shower worked well and was quite large. It is very easy to recommend booking this apartment.
Kylliki was very easy to reach via AirBNB messaging, and quick to answer when we needed her. The only problem we ran into was a lack of toilet paper which was quickly remedied. I thank her for letting us stay in her charming apartment.
Kylliki was a great. She contacted me by email several times leading up to and through the stay to make sure things were going well. The location was very nice: close to Luxembourg and Place d'Italie and the 7 metro. The internet in the flat was a bit spotty and slow, but workable. Everything was very clean, and there was more than enough space.
The room is very small and fits little more than a two-person bed, which is a couch at the same time. Unfortunately the mattress is worn out, with lots of bumps and there are some planks missing from the bottom of the bed as well. Don't sleep here for more than a few nights, unless your back can handle it! Besides, there is a small kitchen and a tiny bathroom. The neighborhood is nice and quiet at night. During daytime you can find lots of places to have a good breakfast, drinks and dinner in little bistros and restaurants.
The reservation was canceled 3 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
I had a great stay in this flat. Check-in was effortless, and it was quite cute and cozy, especially for one.
Thank you for staying with us Jamey. Great tenant that I would recommend to anyone!
I was not home when my guests were at the house, but was told that except for a couple of housekeeping glitches that were attended to initially, everything went smoothly. I hope they had a good time over the holiday. I was told that they were all smiling when the taxi came to take them back to town!
Kylliki rented our apartment for some colleagues and they were very nice and respectful. I would not hesitate to rent to them or their colleagues again!
Kylliki and her wonderful family were a delight to have as guests. They were such friendly and respectful people with a positive and wonderful attitude at all times. Some might hesitate hosting a family with a baby in their apartment, but this little angel is the easiest, quietest and smartest little girl that always finds a simple way of entertaining herself without any disturbance to anybody. I am so happy to have met and hosted Kylliki, her husband Pavel, her sweet mother-in-law and her little angel. They are welcome to stay at my apartment whenever they like.
