I rented this condo for a week with a relative while visiting family in the area. Everything was exactly as described - the location and amenities are excellent. The beach is a short block away, and Pass-a-Grille is a 5-minute walk down the beach. 2 blocks in the other direction are a convenience store, a deli/bodega, an excellent Italian restaurant, and a couple of great dockside bar & grills. You don't need a car, but if you have one, the parking pass is a nice bonus.
Inside the condo, the kitchen has everything you need, with a convenient countertop with stools for entertaining while you cook. The large sofa with recliners was nice after a long day at the beach, as was the oversized love seat. Each condo also has a nice open patio in front which is great for having a morning coffee.
We loved the place and would rent again!
☺️ wow!! What can I say!! This sweet condo is located at at the perfect location!! The beach is literally a block away!! Not crowded at all.. I really enjoyed my stay!! It's writhing minutes to Clearwater too if you choose to drive there....
We had a wonderful stay at Susan's condo. It is very comfortable- great beds!- with anything you could want to accommodate us. The beautiful beach is a few steps away near stores and restaurants. Parking pass makes parking in this area easy. Susan also has numerous beach toys available for the young at heart (and of body). We will definitely call her the next time we are in town. She is very nice and available by phone if you have any problems. We LOVED it!
My dad and I go to Pass-a-Grille every year and usually stay in at an inn. Thankfully, the inn we like was booked, so I found Susan's perfect apartment on Airbnb. Susan is super hospitable and lovely. She often checked in by phone just to make sure everything was going well. The apartment is great. It has everything you need, clean, and comfortable. It's a block from the beach and just a few blocks from restaurants. You could easily not even have a car here! I will definitely stay again.
How rare to find a dream location that's exactly as described by a host, right? Well, that's case with Susan's comfortable 2BR, a short walk from what my wife and I consider the best beach community on the Gulf.
Pass-a-Grille is an historic, low-rise village on the southernmost end of St. Pete Beach. It was a regular destination for my family and buddies when I was growing up across the Bay in Tampa. And since its super-relaxed pace, look and feel are no secret to world travelers, the community is among the most expensive rental areas in the region. Which Susan's condo a real bargain.
Everything is exactly as Susan describes. It's a perfect escape for a couple or two singles willing to share a bathroom. You can hide from the sun inside or be in the middle of funky Pass-a-Grille life a few steps outside. A beach stroll to the south delivers you to the shopping and dinning heart of Pass-a-Grille. To the north is the upscale pool bar of the historic Don Cesar.
No car is necessary, though Susan provides a hard-to-come-by parking pass and a spot just outside her apartment. The beach trolly system can take you up and down the coast or to the heart of downtown St. Pete. But you probably don't want to wander too far away from the legendary Pass-a-Grille sunsets.
