Eithne's house was perfect for our stay in Galway, big enough and comfortable, and quite close to the town centre. Even though we only saw her a couple of times, Eithne has been welcoming and helpful, and her dog was adorable :)
We loved Eithne's house. She met us right on time and showed us everything we needed to know before heading back out. Her place is in a quiet neighborhood about 30 minutes by foot outside of the city. We felt very safe walking home at night. I'd stay there again if I was going to be in Galway again!
Eithne's place in Galway was very cosy, indeed. It's about 25 minutes on foot to downtown and very easy to navigate once you get your bearings. The townhouse is clean and Eithne was kind to leave provisions like bread, eggs, milk, and other goodies for us in case we hadn't been to a store when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again.
Our stay in Eithnes house was perfect.
It was clean, warm and friendly and we had all we needed!
Great house to stay in, tones of space and a kitchen provisioned by someone who cooks. It was a pleasure to stay here. Eithne was a great hist, very helpful.
Loved it. Easy and accessible. As someone who lived in Boston for many years, I'd stay here again!
Eithne's place was perfect for our stay in Galway. Eventhough the house is quite old, the bathroom is brand new, which is always a good point! Kitchen and living room were also comfy place to hang around at night or in the morning, plus they left some nice CDs to listen to :)
The location was really convenient too. By car, you are really close to Galway's city center, it's an hour drive from Connemara and a bit more than an hour from the cliff of Moher!
We very much enjoyed having Eithne's home to stay in for several nights in Galway. She helped us get set up and find our way and then left us alone except when we had questions or needs. The house is comfortable, quiet and very roomy, and the kitchen adequately equipped for the three of us. The bus connection was tricky the first night but then we got the hang of it. We will stay at Eithne's again if we return to Galway and her place is available. .
Cozy and quirky and the best welcome ever! I booked Eithne's house for a couple of nights thinking it would be a good base to show my Italian friends around Galway and then head off towards The Burren. We arrived late but Eithne came over to meet us and show us around with no fuss then, seeing as it was late sunday night and everything was closed she even dropped back with a bottle of wine for us - my Italian friends were blown away!
The house is lovely, beds very comfortable, bread, milk, coffee, jam etc left out for breakfast and instructions left everywhere on how to work things - oh and wifi! Thanks Eithne for the use of your house and for confirming every positive stereotype about Irish hospitality!!
this was a lovely home really what we wanted nice relaxing break away, so close to salthill and galway city centre really enjoyable stay would recommend this house to anyone looking to get away to galway for a few days
Eithne and her friends were a joy to host in my apartment they even cut an extra key themselves after loosing one set !!
Eithne and Miriam were very nice guests. I had no issue to communicate and stay in contact during their stay. Also they are very clean and tidy and respectful with my apartment. I recommend you them without any problem.
