Apologies if Maribel made a mistake and gave you the wrong key to the room but I am glad she managed to come to the house and switch the keys even at 3am on NY's eve.
The picture on my listing does show the mattress only. The reason I am not using a bed base is because the mattress is high and very thick and was recently purchased from a mattress specialist to specifically provide good back support and sleep comfort on its own.
As for the heater, I left it in the room for you to use from day 1.

I am really surprised by your review.
I believe the main reason behind such a negative review is us refusing to pay an additional 40 euros (20 euros per hour) in cash, on site, for the late check-in.
I messaged you almost 1 hour before the check-in time to let you know that we had an issue with the car and that we will be late. I believe that was clear and not confusing. Considering that no additional charges for late check-in are mentioned in your Terms nor in Airbnb's T&C and that you were not willing to give us an invoice for the requested amount, we naturally refused to pay.
Regarding the house, you were there when we left and even if we were charged additional USD 72 for cleaning we made sure the house was perfectly clean before we left, we washed all the dishes, emptied the trash - took it all the way to town as there was no neighborhood trash depository - and wiped the floors.
We used the dish washer once only throughout our stay and never used the washing machine as there was no soap. I mentioned to you that we had put all the towels in the washing machine before we left and didn't turn it on as there was no soap. So not only it wasn't working but it was not empty either!
I myself am an Airbnb host so I always make sure to leave the places I stay at in a perfect condition just like I would like my guests to do in my place!
