We absolutely loved our stay with Pat. The cottage is really cosy with a lovely outdoor area where you can sit in the evenings and have dinner or a drink.
The pool is very big and lovely for a swim. Pat made us feel very welcome, and we even had a lovely poolside glass of Cava together one evening.
We would say that anyone who isn't used to large dogs might find Pat's cottage a challenge. Pat has 10 dogs living on the farm, all of whom are incredibly friendly and gentle, but generally quite big (including a Great Dane) so dog lovers will be in their element but if you're not accustomed to these kind of pets you might struggle.
Also we would suggest that you make sure you get clear directions before travelling, as the cottage isn't in Casares as the ad suggests.
Finally, we did self catering for 2 days which worked out really well for us as we BBQ'd each night but Pat has certain restrictions over self catering which it's worth discussing before hand.
Overall, a great and incredibly relaxing stay.
Response from Pat:
