Louis, your review just breaks my heart. I put three people when I booked, which means three adults. The same is true when you book a hotel where kids not requiring additional beds usually stay for free. In addition, I emailed you ahead of time that I have a 2 year old and a 7 month old with me, and you said it was okay. I'm appalled by your reaction to the stains that my son left on your tv and couch, that I didnt see, otherwise I would have cleaned them. I assure you, those shoulf easily come off. Your place was actually dirty when we got there. My two year old who has a habit of laying down on the floor/ carpet had hair and lint on his shirt on the first day. I used bleach spray to scrub and clean the toilet, especially the tub because it was full of mold. There was a cup of half consumed coffee on the table. Your two luggages were in the kitchen. I texted you about those, and you said you'll pick them up one day, probably your excuse to check your place in the middle of one's stay. We did our best to protect your things, put them out of reach of our son. And we put them back where they were before leaving. We made the beds, threw our trash and cleaned the dishes before leaving. Perhaps what you're alluding to regarding the full sink of dishes was when you visited the place while we were out. You did text me about passing by, but I thought that was still intrusive. You probably have no idea how much time it takes us to get everyone ready in the morning. With this, we sometimes washed the dishes at the end of the day so we could at least enjoy Chicago. And hey, when on vacation, is there a rule to wash dishes right after eating? The place was cluttered when you visited. Do you know what 2 year old boys do? They take out clothes from luggages even if you tell them not to, and play with shoes. Also, there was not a single drawer or cabinet that was empty where we could put any of our stuff. It looks like you still live there. The fridge was also full of half consumed food. There was no clutter whatsoever when we checked out. The laundry door was how it was when we got there. Please do not make it appear that we trashed your place because we did not. Finally, I should also mention that your offer for me to cancel my reservation with airbnb and just pay you directly made me feel very uncomfortable, that I refused your offer. Thank you, and I hope that in the future, you'd be more considerate, or at least be truthful.
