Victorias was a very nice host, waiting for our arrival (late after 11pm with a long flight) and gave us a really helpful orientation of the house and the neighbourhood. During our stay we had asked her a few recommendations (where to find laundry service, babysitter) which she responded promptly always although she didn't live nearby.
Her apartment, while not in immediate proximity to the main tourist attractions, is close to many buses and metro line D that would take us to everywhere in BA. It worked well for us.
Great stay! If you want to really live like a local in Bs As then Victoria's apartment is an excellent option. Shop with the neighbors at the supermarket, have a cafe con leche with them on the corner, go across the street for some amazing Argentinian pastries, listen to live jazz....everything is at your doorstep. Then go be a tourist downtown in 10-15 minutes on the Subte. My daughter and I even figured out the busses that run through the neighborhood when the Subte station was closed for maintenance. We appreciated the updates to this older apartment such as the lovely granite countertop, stove, fridge and laundry sink in the kitchen, and the huge showerhead in the bathroom. Wifi worked perfectly. In all, an excellent value. Thanks to Victoria for being a friendly and helpful host!
I really relaxed to that place.
Situated at the center of Buenos Aires , to a very nice area, with Victoria and her cousin giving me all the info that I needed.
Really thanks , and hope to come back one day and gather all together so i can prepare a nice dinner, stakes, wine, etc, to the lovely kitchen-living room space of the apartment. Greetings Buenos Aires
Nice cozy apartment with lots of cool art in a great location close to the D subway line, Jardin Botanico, Palermo restaurants, etc.! Victoria was a gracious hostess, and the apartment came with everything we needed.
Victoria is a great host, friendly and helpful. We stayed at her apartment for 10 days in late November/early December. The apartment is in an excellent location, very close to subway to get downtown, and walking distance to Palermo Soho with cool restaurants, bars, cafes and clubs. The only drawback was that there is no outside balcony, and not much light comes in since the living room only faces an interior patio. But the plus side of that was that in the summer, since not much sun comes in, it stays cool inside during the day. We didn't need to use the AC the whole time we were there. It's a1st floor apartment in an older style building. The interior was very cute, charming, well-decorated and designed, artsy style apartment. Good place for a short-term stay.
This was a great little 2bed apartment in a prime location in Palermo.
We loved the fully stocked kitchen for our own use, cable tv and comfy double bed.
Only a few glitches with the internet but Victoria was onto it straight away and was generous is a resolution for the inconvienence.
Yes the bathroom is small, but it seems everything in BsAs is small like that.
We would absolutely recommend this to other airbnb users.
This apartment is really well located and near Sta-Fe you get access to almost every bus in town.
Victoria took really care to be sure I was ok with everything.
And many neighbor in the building are very friendly and helpful.
The terrace is a great thing to have for people who like to relax home, read or to have some friends over for a drink or more :-)
So yes I recommend it
Our stay with Victoria was excellent. The apartment is beautiful, cozy and has a good energy floating about. The pull out bed was comfort, the shower was hot and the terrace was beautiful. Victoria is sweet and really helpful. She has just opened a yoga studio, so if you come, take advantage of that!!!!!
You will love your stay.
very nice place. i really enjoyed my stay at victoria's place. the wooden floor room is very nice and well equipped (tv, hifi etc.), though the sofa could be a bit more comfortable. the kitchen is very tiny (but sufficiently equipped), so is the bathroom (you can't avoid to shower the entire bathroom when taking a shower) BUT the terrace is just amazing!!! it's huge and always sunny. (well, if you go there in summertime of course). it's not a luxurous apartment but a very nice one, into the bargain in a very nice and usually pretty expensive area of buenos aires. and victoria is very lovely and always ready to help. as i said: i really enjoyed my stay.
This is a really basic studio. Don´t expect too much of it. We found the studio very dirty when we arrived, we don´t believe they had cleaned it after the previous guest left. The worst of all was that they gave us bedlinnen which were not washed! we could smell the feet of the previous guest in the linnen and they gave us used towels! We have to say that the host took immediate action ( new bedelinnen and towels were brought ) after all this was sayed to her but this is not be done in the first place. We have to be honest here and warn future guests about these situations. She relies on different other people to get things done intead of taking care of things herself which is not appreciated by us.
