Hello, I'm a professional female in my mid-30's, and I'm coming out to Boston for the Boston Marathon. This will be my 16th marathon. Yahoo!

Heather and her place are very pleasant. We enjoyed the walk friendly neighborhood. Close to groceries, tacos, and refreshments. Would love to stay there next time.
My sister and I stayed here and it was exactly as described. The room is cozy but when you are out and about it's a great place to come back and rest. Plus the bed is super comfortable! It was very quiet and a great location. Heather was great about answering any questions we had (and very quickly too). We would absolutely stay here again.
Had a great second visit at Heather's place and it was great...
The house is very convenient, accommodating, and private. It lived up to our expectations and had everything we were looking for in our short stay in Portland. The location is great. It was close to good coffee, food, and transit. Phil and I would love to stay here again!
The room was neat and clean and so was the bathroom right outside the bedroom. Heather and her room mate Jen have their own separate bedrooms. There is a convenience store and coffee shop right around the corner and an organic market 4 blocks away. Heather is a very pleasant person and asked us to feel free to use her kitchen.
Heather was very accommodating during our week-long stay in Portland! The room was a little on the small side, but the big, comfy bed more than made up for it, and it was no problem as there was plenty of room throughout the rest of the house. We also loved how the bedsheets and towels were nicely folded when we arrived -- very professional!
The location was ideal, too -- a quiet, residential neighborhood, but the light-rail line and numerous bus lines to all corners of Portland are just a 5 minute walk away. There was also a great grocery store specializing in natural/local foods a 5 minute walk away, plus a taco shop and an AMAZING little coffee/breakfast spot called GrindHouse Coffee just a few houses down at the end of the block. Highly recommended!
Even though we never met Heather (she works a lot!), getting into her place and communicating with her was a breeze. The bed was extremely comfortable; the house clean and quiet. Although you're outside of downtown, the walk to the train and bus were short, and the ride into town was scenic and quick (20-25 minutes depending on where you're headed). A steal for $35! Thanks again, Heather!
I didn't meet the owner in person. We only contacted by email but she provided good information about the house.
The house is in a good neighborhood and not far from the light rail station.
In summary, I was really happy with this hours.
My husband and I stayed here for a few nights. We thought our room was very nice. It was quiet and comfortable. Heather wasn't around much so we didn't get to talk very much, but from what we did see of her she was very nice. She made sure we had everything we needed.
Heather was a gracious hostess and flexible with our coming and going. The room was very comfortable and clean and we loved having access to the living room for visiting and reading and the fridge to put our good leftovers. This was our first airbnb experience and we loved it. We were in the neighborhood where our son is which made visiting around his work schedule easy and convenient.
We were thrilled to host Heather, our first Boston Marathon Runner! She finished the course which was no small feat given how hot it was that day. Heather is a lovely, friendly young woman. She and her mom, who was accompanying her, were excellent guests, very considerate and left the apartment as they found it
I enjoyed meeting Heather, she is very independent and adventurous. She is easy to get along with and was quiet, clean and friendly. She is welcome back any time!
Heather has beena great friend of mine for many years. When she lived in San Diego, we worked together and trained together for several marathons. Now, when she visits SD, she stays with me and is great fun to be around and is tremendously respectful of your home.
Heather is a wonderful person and a delight to be around. She is tidy, respectful and you'll be extremely comfortable if you're able to stay in her cozy, private room!
