Christopher has been very helpful and very quick in his answers despite the fact that he lives so far from the house, in the USA. The person in charge, who lives in the village, is of the kindest sort. A very nice woman indeed, and very efficient. We were perfectly happy there. The house is very comfortable. The view splendid as described. One should know that it is very windy in case of wind.
Loved the villa - appears just as in photos. The town of Kastro is small and largely unchanged for centuries - a wonderful place to stay, though you do want to have a car. Koula, the housekeeper, is a terrific person. The WiFi is hit and miss - likely because of the DSL IP. The location of the villa is very good. Be aware that access to the villa is not easy for anyone who has a mobility issues/difficulty walking. You have to walk along a an unpaved path and go down 30 or so steps to the house. A special place to stay.
Kastro Keeley House was a very special once in a lifetime type of experience with wonderful views day and night, a welcoming home in a great village. Christopher was great with immediate response to a last minute request and Francesca kept us very comfortable. Thank you
Majestic views. Serene sunrises. Early morning hikes to Panagi Poulati for snorkeling and swimming. A short hike to Seralia Beach, snorkeled and swam. The traditional Cycladic house was awesome, much more than anticipated. The caretaker, Koula (Franchesca), was very sweet and helpful. We would and may rent this house again. It really "grew" on us. Sad to leave.
Fantastic location with great view, the property is exactly as mentioned in the advert.
One of the best locations we have staid in , in Greece
Spacious living room an enough bedrooms
A fantastic location, as beautiful as described in the pictures. The Villa is located a short walking distance from the entry of the village Kastro. The location is exposed to the northern winds (and on windy days it was nice to go to the other side of the island - a car can be recommended, but there seems to be frequent busses), but it also meant that there weren't any mosquito and that the house felt fairly cool although very warm weather. The villa felt spacious with 2 good bedrooms and a nice open hangout and kitchen area. A brand new fridge and washing machine were a bit hard on the electric system, but with hands on instructions from Koula everything worked perfectly. The wifi worked very well. We found the best snorkeling on Sifnos beside the monastery below Kastro and the best sandy beaches at the south and west part of the island. Kastro is a beautiful old town with a small mini market, bakery and some cafes and tavernas. We can recommend the restaurant Leonidas which is also the closest. In all we had a pleasant, peaceful stay with a spectacular view over the Mediterranean!
Great house, in a fantastic spot of a lovely island ! The house is easy and welcoming. For some reason, the wifi connection was not working, but that was the only (minor) drawback during this lovely stay.
