Healthy lifestyle, not in to drugs or booze. Love the beach, yoga.
I do landscape design and interior/retail styling….oh, and i teach surfing.
Being first time air BNB users we did not quite know what to expect but KC made it a great experience! Her place is just great, so quaint and cute and everything you need for a great Venice beach vacation is provided. The location is fabulous, really close and central to everyhing the beach, the boardwalk, restaurants, shopping all on foot!
We truly loved our experience at KC,s place and would recommend it without hesitations! There is no other place like Venice and this is the best way to experience it!.
K was super communicative throughout the whole process which helped to make her arrival and stsy go smoothly. Very appreciative, too!
Kay was a great guest. She is very respectful of the space and her dog, Holly was the same. She is highly recommended as a guest. Love to have her back anytime.
Kim and I have known each other for years through the surfing community in LA. She is a witty, funny, outgoing person and extremely grounded. Her apartment is located in one of the coolest spots on the westside. There are cafes, restaurants, parks and shops all within walking/biking distance. The first time I walked into Kim's place I was shocked at how spacious it was and at the same time it was cozy and inviting. It's a great base for anyone wanting to experience hip coastal living in LA.
Kim is super cool and her apartment in Venice is to DIE for! Cute craftsman in an amazing location, great restaurants and shops on her door step and short walk to Main Street and beach. I have know Kim for many years, she's a talented landscape artist and patient surf teacher. I do not hesitate to refer her!
I first met K when a mutual friend recommended her to me as a surf teacher. Since then, we've become friends and try to catch up when we're both in LA. K is an open-hearted, adventurous, smart and witty dame. Her home is a peaceful, carefully decorated sanctuary (her tiny potted landscapes are super cool) in an area of Venice that is the perfect blend of the old and new--I've listened to stories of decades past from her neighbors, and there are shops and cafes that have been around for years as well as hip new places opening up all the time.
A surf lesson with Kim is an unbeatable experience--not only do you improve your chances of catching a wave, but you'll likely meet locals who adore Kim and offer their greetings.
I definitely recommend K as a host. You'll be glad to know her!
Kim and I became friends a few years ago after sort of knowing each other as teenagers. So glad we did because she's a smart, witty and super supportive friend AND she has a fabulous and comfortable apartment. The first time I stepped inside I felt right at home, cute and funky in the best possible way. And it's all right there in the heart of happening Venice.
K.c has a great sense of humor, always up for a good laugh!
Very thoughtful. she is a great host!
Her home is so cozy & sweet, very much the cool Beach Pad.
Walking distance to great food, wine tasting, yoga, coffee houses and of course the Beach!
Super clean and charming vintage apartment in Venice, amongst all the artists and surfers. Lots of light and quiet. The rooms are big! Very airy. Kim has great taste. Across the street in both directions are great breakfast, lunch and dinner places, from wine bars to juice stores to vegan hot spots. Walking distance to the best grocery store on the west side, and to the beautiful Pacific ocean. Can't lose!
I have known Kim for many years and she is an honest, caring and responsible person. On top of that she is an extremely patient person, she taught me how to surf and I was not the best student. To stay with her or at her home would be a pleasure.
I rented Kim's place for a week and took surfing lessons from her. The apartment is beautiful and clean with a vintage California/surf decor, and surfboards lining the staircase as you come in. The area is perfect, with a good corner grocery, juice bar, coffee shop, and laundromat all within one block, and great restaurants and shopping nearby. Whole Foods is a five minute walk east, and the beach is a five minute walk west. Kim herself was really funny and respectful, and I had a great time learning to surf with her. Overall, it was exactly the California experience I wanted, and I'd go to her again if I was in the area.
This Venice Beach pad is the best! Kim is an absolutely lovely person to deal with and super helpful when it comes to tips about the neighborhood. Her apartment is truly wonderful -- extremely spacious, bright, clean, has really cool style, and is perfectly equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped (even has a great gas stove) but if you don't feel like cooking there are some of the best tacos in LA on Rose Avenue, not to mention the new hip restaurants scattered around the hood within walking distance. It'(URL HIDDEN)minute walk to the beach, also quick walk to Abbot Kinney or Main Street. You can spend days never having to get in to your car! Above all, you can tell Kim loves and cherishes her space and that makes it feel like a real home away from home. You will be super happy and comfy here. From booking to departing (when Kim was generously able to accommodate us for an extra day after our flight got changed) I have only great things to say about our whole experience renting from Kim. We hope to stay there again on our next trip to LA!
