Apartment was as described. The host was helpful and professional. It's in a convenient LES location, good value, and I would stay there again.
Patrick was an excellent host and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We really enjoyed the apartment with its unique touches. The Lower East Side was a colorful area and made a good base for exploring the city. We really enjoyed our stay.
Patrick's apartment offered everything we needed for our stay in NYC. The apartment is in a great location - you can walk to the subway and to countless bars, cafes and restaurants in both the Lower East Side and East Village. There is WiFi and speakers to plug your iPod into. It is a bit noisy (from the bridge/road out the window) - but what place in NYC isn't? We would definitely recommend it!
Patrick was a amazing host! Very easy to communicate. Great Place well located. very clean. Has everything you need for a perfect stay.
Highly recommend it
Patrick was very helpful and this is a great place. Great for one person or a couple. I had no problems the whole time. Patrick has done a great job putting this place together - unique and charming. It's just a few blocks from the subway and near great restaurants and bars.
Patrick was a lovely host. He greeted me warmly when I arrived, showed me everything I needed to know, and made me instantly feel comfortable inside his home. And the flat was spectacular - even better than the picture shows! I couldn't recommend this more highly.
Patricks apartment is wonderful, spacious and really charming. The design is very tasteful clutter-free and yet very convenient. It has everything you need like a fully equipped kitchen, lots of storage space, towels, sheets and a nice shower. Everything was very clean and tidy.
The location is very convenient if you are looking to explore the Lower East Side, East Village, Little Italy, Greenwich Village and Soho on foot. A subway station (JMZ trains) is only a three-minute walk away.
Patrick was the nicest host! He carried my very heavy suitcase up the stairs into the apartment, explained everything I needed to know and during my stay, made sure that everything was alright.
I was very pleased with the whole stay and can highly recommend staying at Patricks's apartment.
Patrick offers the perfect charming house for singles or couples, with everything you need for a one week stay in NYC. But who is expecting luxury should rather stay at a hotel. The location is great to explore the east village. Up and down Delancey and Clinton street is already a good start. The subway connection leads into up- and downtown of Manhattan as well as to Brooklyn. If you want to get a car, the Williamsburg bridge is around the corner, and quick connections to the highways are given. Though this also means a lot of traffic all night in front of the window.
A recommendation to have a decent breakfast close to "home" is the Corner Stone Café down Clinton street.
If you rather want to see and stay at the fancy side of Manhattan East village is not recommended. Although Patricks house is quite industrial enchanted the door also could use one or two more proper locks for safety. The internet offered is quick and useful to checkout places and planing your days, but due to sharing the wifi with other neighbors we lost the reception after half a week, what you would have to solve yourself, cause Patrick is not around.
Other than that Patrick makes a very kind, easygoing and helpful impression and gave quite a few decent recommendations for dining. Don't be shy to ask.
