I was raised and lived in NYC until age 49. I went to CCNY. I was a dancer while living in NYC and was trained at the School of American Ballet and Alvin Ailey. I auditioned for Hair on Bdwy and was chosen but turned it down for a variety of reasons. Sad, indeed. One of my favorite, favorite Bdwy shows.
I then moved to the country and created a small farm with horses, chickens, ducks, geese, dogs, cats and Annie, my African Grey parrot,
I once gave CPR to a duckling who had drowned. I revived her which was so amazing and exciting. Unfortunately, she was taken by a hawk a few months later.
Bought land in Costa Rica about 10 yrs. ago and built a house. I have about 11 acres which, of course, are all available to you.
I immediately fell in love with the place. I love raw nature. Costa Rica is the most beautiful place I have ever been. I am so at peace here. So will you be.
I still live in NY and come down as often as I can. I am currently in Costa Rica preparing this home for guests. I use the word home intentionally because I want you to absolutely feel at home. i need to digress for a moment. I just need to say, right now, that there is a Toucan singing its little heart out, not far from where I am sitting on the patio. Music to my ears. Okay, I am back on course. There are two people on the property. Miriam is the manager of the property. She will greet you when you arrive and if you have any questions about anything she will help you. If she doesn't have the answer she will refer you elsewhere. She speaks English and understands but it is important that you speak slowly. Her husband Juan is the gardener. He does not speak English. Using your hands is always helpful. They are both sweethearts. Their son, Josue, speaks a little English and Geisel (pronounced Hazel) is fluent in English. She is not around much. Part of the property is a jungle valley and you are welcome to explore. If you want Juan with you, make a date in advance. He used his machete to create a trail.
The things I like are reading: I am currently reading We Need to Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver. I also recently finished Timbuktu, a story told by a dog. I loved it. The series: Breaking Bad, Orange is the New Black, and The Walking Dead,
