Very comfortable home in a quiet and convenient location. Ideal for travelers with children. Highly recommended.
Nice big apartment. Quiet and yet fairly central to the city. Easy to get to/from by several buses.
So, 100% honest review here!
The house is great!we have used airbnb many times before, and Luca's plase has by far exceeded our expectations. Here are the facts: The condo is as described! Safe, secure, in a great spot! Neighbors are warm and friendly. Elevator available. Great neighborhood with a supermarket near by. Wifi works perfect! Kitchen is amazing! If you have children, so does he! Toys are there if you need them. Short distance to all the sights of Rome!!! Vatican,Colossium easy to get to! When we cone to Rome again, this is where we are staying! Thank you Luca!!!
Response from Luca:
George, thank you very much for the nice review, hope to host you again in the future, it was great to host you, hope to meet you in person someday!
Luca's place is one of the nicest places that I have been in Rome, extremely spacious, bright, clean and cosy apartment. There is free and fast WiFi, kitchen utensils and the rest necessary for a pleasant stay.
It is also very close to the great park of Caffarella if you like to jog at the open.
The place is just as you see it on the pics. We stayed here for a week and it felt like home. We were welcomed by Luca's mother and she explained it all in english.
The location was perfect its quiet with a supermarket really close (we got fresh bread every morning) theres a bus nearby and the metro is a 15 minute walk but its throug a street with shops so on your way home you can get a nice gelatto ( at least that what we did) I would defitnely stay here again
Luca was a helpful host and he provided coffee which was nice too. He responded when I left my hat there but the postal system is so slow that I never received it even in 6 days ( from Rome to Florence)!!
My friend and I rent Richard's house. First time we came to the house, we all found it was awesome. The room is very comfortable, and living room is spacious that we can sit down to discuss our travel agenda, playing a board game, even enjoying the meal. This experience we spent in Rome is very unique and special to us. We really hope we can visit again.
You can't stay in a better location. Its great to get from and to the airport. You can walk to the Colosseum and other places and yet you are in a great Italian neighborhood. There are amazing and historical walking places just steps from the apartment. Good public transportation options. Luca is a great host and the apartment is huge. My teenagers loved the hoop. We are going to stay there again the next time in Rome.
Response from Luca:
Thanks a lot for your review..it was a pleasure having you, I'm waiting for you the next time!
We were looking for a family friendly appartment in a quiet neighberhood. A task that is not always simple in a city such as Rome. We found all of this in Luca's place. We had the perfect spot to cook some meals, have a good night sleep, make our espresso in the morning and plenty of room for the kids to play. The neighberhood gave us the impression to live like the romans do with many opportunities to observe their way of life. Even though we weren't downtown, it was easy to hop in the many buses that lead straight to the main attractions in a matter of seconds. We also enjoyed the nearby park, supermarket, wine shop (enoteca), coffee shop (bar), pastry and the Appia Antica.
We found Luca was very friendly and helped us with some special requests (we had our 5 month old baby with us). He was always quick to answer our enquiries.
Once on site, we were greeted by some genuine italian love in the form of his charming mother. She made us feel like a distant cousin coming into the country.
Luca è stato un ospite preciso e discreto, ci siamo incrociati giusto per le chiavi ma chissà che qualche altro concerto non li riporti a Bari!
